Pretty cool Rick. Just got the Hikmocro handheld and really like it. Really helped my apprentice visually see the refrigerant flow on the ice machine we were working on. You always get to play with the cool tools, lol. Thanks for the video and hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

I’ve never used thermal but could you use to pinpoint refrigerant leaks?

I’ve never used it for that before however, I’ve heard that it can be done. I guess it would depend on how much is leaking, you’d have a change of state through the leak such as an orifice would be.
