HSGI Suregrip micro grip belt panel, review

Another interesting product for me to try out, as someone who wants to grab a Ronin 2-piece belt, and often times I might not be wearing a combat shirt, but would be having a field shirt/BDU shirt. Although it may not be as breathable, I hope HSGI do give this some closed cell foam as well as retaining the rubberized material as a lining on the foam.

@@Muddy_Reviews Would love to give it a shot honestly, since not all of the time everyone needs a combat shirt in most environments, thus we’ll have to be flexible with our belts too. Another good suggestion I just thought of, is having this reinforced tegris material inside the belt to give it some rigidity as well.

@@Muddy_Reviews Basically, tegris, or that fancy polymer material is used on Rōnin Tactics war belts, like the Shūto and the Senshi belt, just so they don’t bend or even flex as much when carrying extra equipment like magazines. It’ll be quite interesting to see HSGI taking this idea and implementing it into the micro grip belt panel.

You are welcome, I really like these for belts. I seem to always go back to it vs. velcroing the belt directly onto my waist.

@Muddy_Reviews I encourage my guys to get a better gun belt than what's issued. Two piece belt has been a game changer for gun quals. That being said, I want some padding when I have to be up in the air for long periods, and also if I don't have time to carefully attach the outer belt.

Can the inner belt be worn inside of the belt loops like a traditional inner belt ?

No, the sure grip belt pad is just for the inside of the belt.
