HSK +, HSK Pro, HSK+ 4k Mouse Review. | These mice are the bomb

In this video, I take a deep dive into the HSK + and HSK Pro mice by gwolves. These high-end mice boast a unique lightwell shell design, a top-of-the-line sensor, and 4k polling for the ultimate experience. I put both mice through their paces to give our honest review on their performance, build quality, and overall value. But please note that my speech issues may affect the video and my voice may sound different but i want you to know that i tried my best to deliver the information correctly. My friend I visited for new years had the hts wireless. Loved it, coming from the viper 8k wired (had the viper ult B4 that, got a mouse Bungie to accept the wire for 8k) Now, got high af one night and chose to buy this hsk pro 4k. It'll probably come in the mail as a surprise by the time I forget about it, but I'm excited to use the lil speedster mouse and have fun lol

Nice first video! Did you ever figure out if the sensor’s orientation is causing that weird feeling vs the plus ? I have the plus and just wondering if something smaller will be even more comfortable - like holding a pen vs a box.

I did not but i still assume so. Now i am used to the slightly different feeling and currently main the hsk pro.

The weird feeling is highly likely due to the sensor being so far forward, not because it's sideways. They switched it sideways to be able to move the sensor closer forward. Hope this clears things up for you both.

HSK Pro is meant to be gripped more towards the back (right under/next to the mousewheel/above the holes). You seem to grip it more at the front which is why it feels weird for you. If you watch people actual fingertip mains and even Kovaaks pros, they grip it from the back as well.

Thank you for your comment. I apologize if my video may have led you to believe that the shape of the mouse was at fault. I never meant to imply that. This I prefer the HSK+ Shape since it suits more traditional fingertip in comparison to my grip style, and I believe everyone should find a grip that suits them best instead of copying their favorite pro players grip style.

I play fortnite, apex, csgo, and rust. These work well with all games!

Try taking off the middle mouse feet that surrounds the sensor and leave the ones in the corners. I had the same issue with scratchy mouse feet on my hsk until i removed that. They give extra feet with the mouse, so if for some reason it feels worse to you, you can always put a new one back on.

I have an 80g mouse with 7 extra buttons+ scroll wheel tilt, and I really find that scroll wheel tilt is kinda useless, but having extra buttons in convenient locations is amazing, especially having winglets for right and left click. Unfortunately, there are no light, small multibutton mice. I'd love to try an HSK if there was a version with a few extra buttons, even if it weighs a little more than the other models.

If I small hands, and find the G305 the perfect size for me but many mice out there are bigger than the G305 but weigh less than it. Which would you recommend if I wanted a lighter mouse that's also small?

Really depends on your grip style! Claw = I'd go with lamzu mini, and for FTIP= Id go for the HSK+ Ace, Viper mini Wireless (When the plastic version comes out), HTX Ace, MZ1 Wireless. G305 has flatter sides than most mice so a HSK+ Might be a similar transition minus the smaller mouse and higher hump. MZ1 May also be a solid mouse but the comfort grooves and long shape often throw some users off. I will be reviewing the HTX and Lamzu Mini soon aswell to give some insight for which grips works well for those shapes.

Hi, do you think it'd be worth it to get the Pro ACE version over the Pro 4k model? It's a bit cheaper, and I'm just not sure if the 4K tech would be worth it.

Hey. I recommend getting the ace version. I personally sold my 4k versions and bought an ace instead. Due to the battery life and performance issues

Yea tbh the hsk+ is really good shape... I use a weird grip so the hsk pro small size doesn't bother me. I prefer the button height of the hsk pro, but the overall feel of the hsk plus (I think, lol). So yea, to me the hsk pro is the supercar of mice (high level when you are warm af) and the hsk plus is the more reliable toyota. Just my 2 cents.

Been using my HSK Pro 4k for almost a week now, definitely the best mouse I've used since i've been searching for a small fingertip mouse ever since the logitech g9. I still wouldn't recommend it to anyone because $189 is out of control.

Great observation! I will be making an updated main video where I talk about this further. The main reason is the fact that I downgrade to the ace version, but I found my self adapting to the slanted sides quite well and ended up performing better to the shape incomparison to the original hsk plus. I believe a great factor was adding the grips to the mouse which increased the grip width of it.

@@Batumma05 i couldn’t manage to use it in fort, i used it for a little in some fps games. It’s really fun to use but it felt like it had 0 stopping power from how light it was and my hand started to cramp after a little from holding it in claw.

I wouldn't say there's much of an adaption to higher weight mice, high weight mice have more momentum therefor less control, lower weight is just better in every way, I encourage anyone that's scared of trying low weight mice to give it a shot, it takes minutes to get used to and you'll never go back to heavy mice again

the old hsk reverse wedge is a terrible design for fingertip imo the new 4k is best for it
