Insane video as always. 🔥 This one has interested me as the sides sloping inwards towards the front is a better shape imo than the plus. The side buttons actually look somewhat usable. I doubt I would use gwolves 4k though as it just get annoying worrying about battery life like on my hati-s plus.

It'll still have some benefits for sure so wouldn't be a bad call if you wanted a longer battery life on it... Tbh 4000hz isn't massively noticeable ingame and you could probably set it to 1000hz and do just fine with the 70hour battery life is that was a factor 🤜

In all honesty if you are a fingertip player, the mouse feels pretty perfect to grip as odd as that seems... The grip tape stacking can also help widen it pretty significantly too. It's small, but somehow it works

I really don't care about 4k hz. If you blame your aim not being precise enough due to it only being 1k hz I think your hardware isn't even the issue. Weight + wireless + side buttons are extremly poggers though.

Yeah the 4000hz isn't the biggest differentiator, but it doesn't hurt to have as an option tbh, you can always just drop it down to 1000hz and save on the battery drain though

I enjoyed mine for a time being a fingertip Apex player, but the awful grips, short battery life, and the lack of a solid shell really added up to a meh experience for me. I always find myself going back to my Bruce Lee x2 mini, instead.

If the plastic numbs digs into your mouse pad, do what I did. File them down. I asked the support team and they said that if the numbs was a problem and I could remove them myself, without doing other damage, it wouldn't affect the warranty

Honestly the mouse is so damn light it makes everything feel like a speed pad... It all depends on your own mouse control and preference tbh. You can either look at something decent but super slow like the Vaxee PA Black or Xten Control or go the other extreme and look for almost no friction like the Shidenkai, Raiden or Vancer Ace (horrible clown one) so it's like playing on air. Both are kind of equally viable alternatives and I've tried/played on both pretty effectively. Oddly enough it was the middle ground hybrids like the Otsu where I found it the most awkward myself at least

The Otsu seemed to be universally praised by reviewers, but apparently not for this mouse? And I noticed on another of your videos you say that the Zero doesn't work great for sub-50 g mice... Was kinda hoping to try out the Artisan range finally. My mind is frail, and the hype has weakened my senses.

Honestly, Artisan pads on the whole trend on the faster side with even the Zero being on the faster end of the control pad range. If you're looking at crazy slow then your options are QinSui 2, Xtrfy GPZ1 or GP4 , Vaxee PA Black or the IKEA Lanespelare black... I mentioned the Xten Control as you wanted a money no option pick too and it's a fantastic slow control surface imo. Otsu is a mid speed hybrid surface that retains some of the control of conventional cloth and doesn't have the rough texture of the Hien so it's a great comprise for most mice, the HSK Pro is just a bit of a unique animal tbh, especially if you put faster aftermarket dot skates on it (I'm using Hyperglides on mine). Hope this helps a little at least, always happy to chat with the community though, starting a discord soon which is a bit more personal than YT comments exchanges!

I mainly play Minecraft, and was wondering if the materials affected the tensioning, bounciness or force to depress the clicks. I curl my fingers in weird ways, and sometimes the materials of a mouse affect how consistent the tactility and ease to click is depending on how aggressive my curl is, and how much contact my finger makes. I also have very sweaty hands, and would rather not use grip tape as my hands are rather thin for their length. What wireless finish would best suit me, if not the transparent blue? I am currently considering the Small Wireless Stardust Red (purely on aesthetics) but I would like some reassurance on if the clicks and build quality remain consistent, and the coating premium. It'd be $80 total and I' d rather not have to pay for a paracord, or I could buy a Small Wireless Stardust Red for $130 total, or a White version for $115 total.

Honestly, they all feel very similar. If you don't mind wired with a paracord the wired ace are still great and only weigh around 49grams from memory.

I don't know why you keep pushing the weight at 26 gram when clearly it's 29 gram with the 4k sensor. The only way to get to 26 gram is by either replacing the battery with a much smaller one that will only last you few hours before needing charge. Realistically I don't think I or many others will bother opening the mouse after reading how fragile the screws and the holes for the screws. Destroy a set of working fresh mouseskates. Just to save 3 gram. I ordered my HSK Pro 4k on November 18 with DHL express shipping, and they still haven't sent it yet. Wrote a support ticket 48 hours ago asking what's up and they still didn't answer. I know they had a lot of issues and are trying to make up for it but the buying experience this time haven't been good for me.

I was going with the lowest actual stock weight available, though saying that the black/red comes in at 24g with the smaller battery and 27g with the larger one. Sensor ring isn't applied on any of them at shipping so didn't remove anything there. Regardless the mouse will be between 24-29g depending on battery, skates and colour used. It'll be interesting to hear your delivery (or even returns) experience though because we've yet to see the actual process in reality outside or promises from G-Wolves Thanks for taking the time to give the feedback though, I appreciate it and hope you enjoyed the video otherwise 🤜

The HSK Pro is a totally different shape to the Plus but it's also a lot smaller, so if you've had cramps on the Plus, you might find the Pro even worse tbh, sorry!

G-Wolves software has an almost lucky dip battery indicator which kind of shows whatever it feels like annoyingly... If the actual mouse starts flashing red then it's less than 10%, otherwise it should fully charge after around 45mins-1hour of being plugged in

Yeah it sounds like a faulty PCB then not accepting charge, just DM Jim on the discord and he should speed up your refund/replacement request. Best contact I found for him was G-Wolves#8342

Great review man, I made the order earlier this month just waiting for delivery. Do I need to pay additional import tax shipping to the UK? Didn’t find any information on the website, was paid in US dollar with piece and shipping cost, nothing mentioned about tax.

My stepfather tried to send me a videocard in the mail as a _gift_ a few years ago from Spain and I ended up having to pay £140 for them to release it lol...

Future batches should be fixed tbh, but yeah it's always a bit of a risk buying a new release until the company has had time to work out all the QC issues from early batches.
