Hopefully the first video in a small series. Let's take a look at the basic functionality of the Machining Boundary function within HSMWorks' 3D finishing toolpaths.

Gold! Thanks for explaining why the tool drops down outside of the containment boundary within the tolerance value. It's this kind of information that very few people know and understand about HSMWorks. Even within the Autodesk CAM team. The way you're ending your videos is killing me though. Although it's an interesting way of making people slide off the end of their chairs in anticipation of the next one.

Great video, really appreciate the in depth information! Looking forward to part 2. So happy to know why the tool violates the model on occasion! Keep up the good work.

Will do. Already have ~2-20 planned, and possibly some ideas for some stuff looking at comparisons between other software as well.

Nice job, Rob. Very appreciated. Wouldn't want to toss that file up on the forum would you? Looks pretty specific though so maybe you can't ;-)

thanks for the great video! I just tried the right click for advanced options in fusion but no luck - is there maybe another way to activate them or ist that restricted to SW / inventor...?

+der ProtoTyp Its not as convenient, but you should be able to find them in the compare and edit dialog. I'm not sure of any way to display them like in SW, but I'll take a look today.
