@supertinktomwelling My understanding is that you can use any of the Cricut Cartridges (except Imagine cartridges) with the Cake machine. Hope this helps!

Yes, you can use Cricut Cartridges on your Cricut Cake. Most if not all of the Cricut cartidges can be used on any machine.

Is this machine hard to use? And is it a good buy?

They are still available but check amazon or Ebay for one second hand - a lot of people (myself included) bought one because they looked great, but they are VERY temperamental and there are so many variable that can result in hours of work for just one page of cut-outs so there are always lots available second hand - I sold mine within three months of buying it. Its benefits sadly are outweighed very heavily by its problems.

supertinktomwelling: Yes you can.. all cartridges are compatible.. what you cannot do, is cutting paper with the Cricut cake, but you can use any cartridge you want with it :)

when will advertisers stop saying "unlike others out there" as if anything else is complete junk.I've seen horrific comments re this cricut machine - i AM considering. Over selling is so 1980 and overdone. People WILL shop around. Moment you say "others out there" I wonder why they can't be mentioned and tell us what they do wrong. Honesty is back in fashion.

I would highly recommend NOT BUYING IT! It is so frustrating and temperamental. It is nothing like on this video. It was the worst investment I have ever made!
