I never have much luck with shell mills.. I have a few nice ones but when I go to Mo steal it just doesn’t seem to want to work very well aluminum comes out much better but I see videos like this and wonder what I’m doing wrong..??

what speeds feeds sizes are u using ?

I never really paid much attention to it just starting the machine up and playing around with it to see what kind of works best as far as feeds and speeds go… it always seems to just create such a racket and really bouncing around sort of speak not making clean cuts… The shell mills are brand new so I know it’s not A issue of being dull and worn out.. I can’t really tell how many thousandth your taking off at one time in the video but I guess I’ll just sort of try to match the speed that the hand wheel is moving in auto feed and keep playing with it,, obviously it’s me because you seem to be coming along just fine… and you’re cutting steel…
