In my opinion no settler or anyone who got land before 1980 can claim any form of compensation. When they utilised that land did they not benefit from it, did they not collateralize it and borrowed from banks for whatever they needed, did they not build the low density suburbs from money they obtained from activities on the farms, did they not live a lavish lifestyle from activities they did on the farms. They don't deserve anything these settlers.
