‘Out of the crate’, ‘bone stock’? What planet is Australia in - it doesn’t come out of the factory on 17” Koya wheels and slicks, and trailing arms. It’s a mid to low 12sec STOCK street car. Slicks, which are not a factory option, make a massive difference. The old LSA’s are generally similar to a STOCK mk8 2 litre Golf R times of 12.3-12.4 quarter mile. (No burnout or prepped track required)

but its about the diff gear set, if you have the same hp and the same auto and change the diff gears, then the times will be way off based on weight and hp figures its that simple? All the rest will be right, plus air temp and density and Height above sea level, because the car is supercharged it all changes the way the car runs and drag numbers, till someone can do a drag calculator which you can put all the figures in as mentioned above, then you will have a good idea what you car will do and then it depends on the rear wheels diameter and size as well if they are 275 X 18 or 305 x 20's or semi drag radials and then the size?

Well i was right check out this upload, if the car was bone stock champ ? RE: HP figures based at the rear wheels at least ? Around the 380 RWKW if the chiller was going ? kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2G5ZWtunNx6b6s and without around the 345 RWKW ? But i know what your saying you can have all the HP in a dynop but its the track that counts, cheers ,thats why so many extras on the car make a difference, tyers, tune, air temps, wind etc etc etc. :)

Not bone stock, Rear wheels totally different and drag radials on MT205's, WOW thats like day and night when it comes to drags, but i get what your trying to do is prove that a stock engine running gear is what GM has said it will run ie: engine HP or KW, but with the interchiller you have a extra close to 100HP, if you do headers full exhaust hi flow cats and then a tune as well, bigger supercharger gear pulley so more boost say 14 PSI instead of the 9 or 10 psi etc etc, close to 150 HP at the engine, but costs around 10K all up, which is about right about 1K for every 10KW gain? Also depending on who does it as well ?

As an FYI, thank you for spoiling the next update we do on the car. We are in the process of doing, rods, pistons, chiller, lid spacer and pod. And this will all be in the next updated video. In this particular video above that you have commented on the car is BONE stock, factory tune, air box etc other than radials and trailing arms, (as mentioned in the video)...hence why the car makes and runs the times you would expect of a factory car.

You made a mistake buddy, if you gain 100HP you will not get 100 MPH gain as well,( MPH gians you will see after tune and basic mods) but dont forget that the chiller gives you around 40RWKW at the rear wheels which basically you have taken out the measurement of the losses in the running gear which is about that much around the 40 HP. cheers :) Stock GTS R is 430 at the flywheel and bone stock it would give you around the 380 KW at the rear, + add the chiller then you have that 40Kw extra. cheers :) Keep up the great work buddy. :)

He is not meaning to say you get a 100MPH gain champ, what he is saying is if you gain HP your MPH will reflect it. If your dyno says you gained 100hp but your trap speed does not show the correct speed for that 100hp then you got fucked.

I can't be anymore clear with this. Not sure how I can dumb it down any further. I feel like I am in a Cathy Newman interview. I believe he "misspoke". If you ask him directly he will tell you 100hp increase will not give you another 100mph in trap speed. Nobody on the planet would think that...... What he tried to say is if you add another 100hp, it will be reflected in the trap speed. If the trap speed does not show it then you don't have it. Its not that hard.....really.

Hey 7071t6 you are misunderstanding what I am saying, or my use of words was slightly confusing. What is said is if you gain 100HP on the dyno then that will reflect in the MPH, eg based on that same weight and engine HP calculation a gain of 100HP meaning the car then makes 679HP at the engine the MPH will be 124.87mph so if you gain 100HP on the dyno over what the stock car is then you will trap 124-125mph.
