One thing Nicky said that it was hard work witnessing in a place where nobody wanted to here the word of Jesus that I found very encouraging because I sometimes I feel when I hear people speaking in church about telling people about Jesus and they gave their life to christ that day, I think how does that not happen when I speak out

The Lord actually spoke the word to me one time I was really wanting to move back to Colorado really bad and missing my past. I knew I had it good here, but I wanted my old life back my old Small Town middle of the plains life. I felt the Lord show me, what you desire to do there, do it where you are right now. Later I seen a sign in a Store JUST after I was thinking this thought...UGGG It's just not the same here as in xxxx Colorardo. And as soon as I looked up I seen ...BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED

Do you know something. The bible says that Satan masquerades as an angel of light. No wonder then that his ministers masquerade as ministers of righteousness. A well known bible scholar and preacher said that "Gumbell was more dangerous thanOsama Bin Larden because he pretends to be one of us" (a genuine Christian). I have a question for you. After you leave behind the surface nicely nicies and shallow sermons that sound so good what will you find when you compare what Gumbell stands and what the bible states? If you find that they donot agree ... what will you do? Follow Gumbell or Jesus and the bible? Just questions for you to consider.

You will find Gumbell‘s teaching aligns perfectly with God’s Word, IF you choose to hear and compare instead of taking someone else’s word as fact. You must compare to know which one is masquerading.

I have a question for you 😊 What exactly does nicky gumble stand for? What is -in your opinion - the diffrence between him and the message of the Bible? I don't see it.
@55klever15 жыл бұрын
Sabine Franke Gumbell stands for the teachings of Jesus and for God’s Word, the Bible. He is not trying to bring honor to himself. His teachings are to help people to learn about Jesus, and come to a closer relationship with God. He and his teachings can not be compared to the teachings of Bible, as your question is asking; his teachings are of and from the Bible. What he is doing is done to bring glory to God, not to himself. Just as there exists books to teach mathematics, very few would be able to learn all of the algorithms and factoring of fractions, etc, on their own. No, they would need a teacher. The same is true of the Bible. God gifts certain individuals with the ability to preach and teach others about His Word, the Bible. Gum bell is one of those people.

@@55klever1 Yes, i think so true. I guess i didn't write correctly, the person before -christians for truth- said nicky would masquerade as an angel of light, and i was asking him what he meant with that 🙄 because i think also that nicky gumbel is trying to bring people to Jesus ☺

Christians For Truth I agree that there are those who are agents of satan who masquerade as agents of light. Who better knows the way to pretend the ways of God than his former angel? That is why we all must be so careful to compare the words we hear or read to the word of God, the Bible. However, we must take care when criticizing preachers and teachers of the Word of God based on the word of others who are proclaimed bible scholars and preachers. They too may be a worker of darkness. I’ve never heard a true minister criticize another preacher of the Word with words such as you quoted. Gumbell is not to be followed. He gives no indication that he wants that. He wants people to follow and have a close relationship with God. His teachings are straight from the Bible, so, per your question, there would be no choice to make. He does not pretend to be a true Christian, he is one in every way I can tell. You know, there were those who followed behind Jesus and claimed his teachings to be false. As for the “nicely nice sermons” as you called them, it takes many variations of teaching to reach a variety of listeners. I can attest to that as a public school teacher. I had to teach to visual learners, audial learners, kinesthetic learners, etc, to reach them all. Jesus knew about all of those types of learners, as well as all of their backgrounds. That’s why he often taught in parables, just as Gumbell does. Jesus also chose disciples from all walks of life so they could go throughout the world and teach the Word from their own perspective. That’s why you see differences throughout the gospels. Not because any of them were satan’s angels, but because Jesus chose them to tell the stories of His life from their perspective. I encourage you to compare Gumbell’s teachings to God’s Word, the Bible, and see for yourself instead of taking the word of anyone else, even a well known bible scholar and preacher.
