U11 felt like htc trying to mingle in with others instead of standing out as they used to like say with htc 10. The glass back with no wireless charging, taking away the headphone jack while giving the participation trophy of a special earphone etc felt like a brand that was starting to lose their confidence.

I understand you can't fit every detail about a product in a short video but but you left out so many amazing features. the lack of interest in the HTC 10 by you is very evident. You seem bored with reviewing smartphone. HTC hi-fi speakers may not be the same double front facing speakers but it still blows away anything apple or Samsung puts out. OIS on a front camera? Horace Silver​ I hear you man. I'm just surprised when I hear people still using certain phones. And the ones you said are all nice in their own right, but depends on what you want. Samsung for their battery life (which is most important to me, also cleaned up TouchWiz), nexus for those "stock Google" fanatics, and htc for best sounding (speakers, headphones). I have g4 which is nice, i got it because marshmallow ruined my note 4 and wanted something newer and went from AT&T to t-mobile. But I'd love to be able to get new note 7 (love Samsung ability to multi-task with their apps more than lg) , my only caveat is no more removable battery. Can't always get everything in one, Such is life I guess. Funny enough for the past 2 hours, I've been watching reviews on Samsung, and htc.

Samsung's TouchWiz has been cleaned, but in my opinion, Nexus devices ad HTC both have cleaner android skins (Well of coarse no skin on Nexus). If you have the money (and haven;t bought a new phone yet) I recommend Nexus 6P.

I used to follow your reviews with great interest. However I have to say you're reviews have become shoddy. Allow me to explain: 1. OLED screen does not automatically mean better 2. OLED color reproduction and accuracy is sub par compared to IPS LCD 3. Higher resolution doesn't mean better. The human eye's capacity to parse information beyond visual acuity is not infinite. 4. The speakers on Samsungs flagships have been horrible. I mean beyond horrible. There is absolutely no way the HTC 10's speaker are the same quality as the Samsung S7/S7 Edge 5. The fingerprint sensor on the HTC10 is blazinly faster. Faster then both S7 and iPhone. In short. Please keep up the good work but please don't fall into this tired routine of peddling some mythical specification.

I didn't even know he compared the HTC 10 speakers to an s7. Or did I watch a different video from you? He only mentioned it's not as good as front facing stereo speakers like on the 6p. Which is true. Htc were stupid to remove a feature they created. You know it's ok to like a phone but to blindly bash other phones and reviewers just because you don't agree with them, that's called being a fanboy. And why is it that every time there is a HTC 10 review all I see are comments bashing the s7. Well, I understand that you like the s7 like other millions of people, because of Samsung popularity. However, some people like the metal, strong, unique and light skin phone, same as HTC :) There is no so much redundant apps on it, like Samsung. Anyway, Samsung is a great and so popular company, but try HTC you will see the difference :)

People in the comments here do not realize that while the stereospeakers are gone the audio quality is still top-notch, it went down in loudness, but up in quality. Don't even think for a second the 10 is bad at audio, or 'middle of the road' as MKBHD says, it is most definitely the best phone for audiophiles. (not that I am an audiophile, go check out Pocketnow's Juan about the matter)

+JohnJigglywiggly Pick the HTC 10 for an all around great phone that does everything well and does in ear audio superbly. Also if you enjoy clean no frills UI, close to stock android UI. Pick Samsung S7 if you absolutely have to have the best camera on the market and don't mind poor audio quality and touchwiz. Pick iPhone 6s if you are an apple person. I really can't see any logical reason to pick the 6s over the HTC 10 or Samsung S7.

Great review as always @MKBHD. The only thing you forgot to mention was that aside from having expandable storage it also has adoptable storage. You could pop in a 128GB micro SD and have the software adopt it as internal storage. Pretty cool if you ask me! But anyway awesome review! Thanks :)

We all know your a Samsung fanboy. And for you to sit up there and say it's cameras are not on par with Samsung is the biggest lie ever told. The HTC 1p won best camera for any smartphone of 2016. I owned the phone 2 of them and the s7 as well. They both had amazing cameras. But the HTC 10s were better?? Not just by a little bit either!! They killed the s7 camera as well,!! Don't take my word for it DXO camera review placed it as number one over the S7 as well. It was also the 1st and only one of it's generation to have a front camera that also featured optical image stabilization as well as 1.8 aperture just as the rear camera did. The best DAC ever on a smartphone as well. You are a good phone reviewer but keep it real!! We all know Samsung pays you dividends!! But give HTC it's due!! They made an amazing device that even Samsung couldn't beat that year in no aspect except a higher brightness and higher water damage specs!! But as far as UI CAMERA DAC PHONE QUALITY AND EVERYTHING ELSE HTC 10 WAS THE MASTER!! PAY HOMAGE SON!! AND SIMPLY PUT. STOP THE FUCKING LYING!!

Every year HTC is so close to making the perfect phone and then they miss one major detail. Like a decent camera, expandable storage, or in this case the thing that made their phones a crowd favorite in the first place: DUAL front facing (stereo)speakers. You just can't go back to hand cupping once you've had the stereo speakers. I am still on the M7 and it looks like the Nexus 6P will be my upgrade.

Very disappointing that it has hardware based navigation keys. Huge step back in my opinion. I'm guessing it was because of the fingerprint sensor. If the next Nexus is HTC made I sure hope it doesn't have the same thing. Just put it on the back like the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P.

I think a lot of people don't realize that software AND hardware make or break a phone. HTC's versions of Android have always been phenomenal compared to the competition. Everything is always smooth, and the phones never heat up (at least in my experience)

It's excellent for the price you can get it now only downside is the battery life which is 3 to 3.5 screen on time with location on high accuracy all the time. I have GS9 plus but I'm coming back again to use the 10 a lot more cause of the size, build quality and the killer audio.
