Thanks for uploading this video. I've been in gadget repair for four years and every now and then I still need videos like this when I come across something new. Opening one of these for the first time today.

Thank you! HTCs are among the trickiest phones to open as they really over egineer their outter shell design to look as clean and slick as possible. You just saved me from screwing up a perfectly good display i had to remove in order to change a damaged charge port.

Hey How2Tech, thanks for the great video, exactly what I was looking for. They do offer just the screen glass for sale now, is there any trick to replacing just the glass? Or is it similar to the Galaxy S6 video? Any help you can offer would be great. Thanks

For anyone wondering what temp to have the heat gun set to, I had to go up to 190-200 degrees celcius, i started at 60c because I was worried about it being too hot, I love that these tutorials don't mention really important information such as what damn temperature is required to actually melt the glue. Saying hot to the touch really doesn't mean much at all.

I think its not as good as an iphone. It feels very nice but mine only lasted about a year and a half before the camera quit working and the headphone jack is very cheaply made and stopped making contact after a while

I was listening to mine and the piece of shit went blank out of nowhere. I am beyond pissed. I bought this phone less than 2 months ago and it already shat out on me. I can press buttons and it still vibrates/makes noise. I havent taken it apart but I am at that point of just hoping a NK/Chinese nuke lands on my fucking forehead. I have no words for the level of pissed I am right now. Here I thought all these fucking years HTC was top tier stuff, I have 2 Evos back in the day, the toughest phones I've ever owned. Here comes this piece of shit, 2 months and the screen fucks out on me. Idk what to even do at this point.
