Don't the Quest devices provide upper body tracking (Quest 2 is estimated, but still provided)? I know Virtual desktop allows that info to be passed through, and I believe Steam is going to be allowing that plus hand tracking through soon. Just mentioning because that plus the three tracker would give you all you need for full body tracking, and might have been good to point out in the video. That said, good video, and informative!

Hi, great video!! My question is if i ad a 4th tracker to the headset and use active calibration will it work. I have used it before with regular trackers. Im waiting for my 4 ultimate tracker to arrive today and see if it works.

Ok I got a complicated one for ya and I'm guessing the easy answer is probably no but.....I use Shadow PC i do not own a physical pc so could I use these still or no?

No because you would need to physically attach a dongle to your PC to have it "see" the trackers. That is an interesting one though. Does it work well for VR in general?

@AtomBombBody yeah works well enough to get full pcvr. Most things work so far such as standable, ovr settings, etc

Its good practice to, but you just need to do it with one tracker (vs all 3 or more)

"Little patience" ive been messing with mine for probably 4 hours and they constantly lose tracking and the map making process refuses to work. The first time i tried setting them up it actually worked fine until i got to the steamvr part where they were like 15 feet below me and the figure 8 process didnt even go up a single percentage. Idk if its user error or what but these might be the worst purchase ever if i cant get them to work.

You might have to re-do the room setup part (the kneeling and turning) or what I do when the trackers end in an ERROR after the figure 8 part I just restart SteamVR and do the calibration and that seems to get them in the proper place again. Not an ideal solution and it is frustrating, but hopefully one of those works for you!

Yeah those idiots need to fix that crashing problem immediately. As well as the lack of efficiency with all this unecessary repetitive calibrating every however many seconds. Turns off other wireless devices? Yeah that can't stand, pc accessories could be affected and fuck shit up while your playing. They did not do well at all with this piece of garbage, having to spend 1 or 2 minutes spinning in circles dancing like some primate shaking a tracker in your hand is ridiculous. Even the quest 3 can just look in a direction and figure shit out, it's near 2025 this technology is making the people developing it look really stupid.
