Ukraine president Zelensky survives three assassination attempts since last week, says report

Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky has survived three assassination attempts in last one week. The Times reported that the three assassination plots were foiled after Ukranians received information about two units tasked to kill the president. Washington Post quoted a senior Ukraine official who confirmed that two units tasked to kill Zelensky were destroyed. The Ukraine's president has been leading ongoing fight against the Russian invasion of Ukraine and has refused to leave Kyiv. Watch this video for full details.

I have little clue about his policies. Only that he wanted Russian army out of Ukraine, to restart Minsk 2, that Ukraine was moving to European ways more and more, and anti-corruption showed some improvement. Guy wasn't that popular and probably wouldn't have been re-elected. But you would have gotten another pro-european president or party winning next few elections for sure, because yeah well life was just improving and Russia was having none of it. Ukraine never asked to join NATO before 2014 invasion by Russia for instance, they were neutral until one of Putins many f*ckups. if only Russia didn't have nukes, then they would need leaders that could be held accountable by their population and international community. Let me point out something crucial in your statement. A HERO is commonly known for SAVING lives.
