Labour set the NHS up for failure when it set it up as a gigantic Ponzi scheme in 1948. And even though its budget (as a share of GDP) has consistently gone up, doubling since the 1990s, service levels have declined whichever Govt has been in power. It's been obvious that the NHS needed a total rejig for many decades. But Labour won't do what is necessary & replicate the more successful social healthcare model, with competing units, used in many European countries.
