Ukraine has 3 Grisha-class corvettes each of which has two depth charge racks. That's more than enough to attack submarines. Russia probably deployed submarines for two reasons: as a deterrent against the US and due to their lower visibility to US spy satellites. It should be easy... And lets not forget... Azov didnt "surrender" in Mariupol... There were also Ukraine Marine unit members holding out underground with them... And National Guard unit members holding out with them underground... And civilians as well who took up arms... And civilians who just tried to find a place to hide too... And there are still people there armed and holding out... And its most likely the Azov guys... Due to the Russian propaganda against them they probably wont give up... Ever... The people who surrendered were most likely the Marine unit people and the National Guard unit people and the civilians... But there are still people there holding out and fighting... 1. Russia has diesel submarines in the black sea already. They are part of the black sea fleet! None are nuclear armed or nuclear powered. 2. With the exception of somehow carting a submarine over half of Russia on some monstrous train of some sort there is no way for any submarines to enter the black sea without Turkey allowing them in through the only opening which is the Bosporus. 3. Turkey will not let them in. 4. This story is therefore rubbish!
