Such an amazing experience, a must see, a very misunderstood species.

CCD have sole access to this unique marine reserve where only they run shark dives: The Colosseum. Close to the bordering reef, it has excellent conditions & visibility with lots of sharks.
The cheerful and friendly team they have trained do an amazing job at guiding you, and showing you the sharks and marine life in this area. Its not just about sharks though as both days I went, there were thousands of fish of all sizes as well.
On one day we had a 6m Tiger shark with us all of both dives.
The shark dive is a must do, even more than one day i found was different each time.
I also did 2x reef and wreck days, which was just amazing as well. With 4 days you get 10% off.
Initially I wasnt interested in a shark dive, but CCD's enthusiasm and advocacy for sharks was contagious, such that I did a second day after the first, and will do it again next time I come.
Food for thought: Why do we discriminate our appreciation for sharks vs whales just because one has evolved to hunt differently yet both can be gentle giants of the sea with an integral part to play in the balance of nature.

When I did this dive there, we didn't have all those metal sticks to fend off Mr. Tiger. Looks like he's gotten a lot more aggressive from the feeding.

@jtrickard the poles are used by the guides, there is generally one between each visitor and used on all sharks. A tiger showing up is actually pretty rare, it was definitely not agressive none of thr sharks were.

Aggression necessitates emotional response therefore what you are seeing is appropriate analytical behavior and also scavenging behavior. In this video the behavior is very calm and the tiger is carefully redirected. I do not know where you did a shark dive but all operations are conducted in a similar manner

@@axmax7805 I did the same shark dive at Beqa Lagoon in about 2010 or so. None of the divers or guides were using the poles.
