This is an especially interesting route, covering both urban and rural areas. I note one major construction zone that I hope will improve the separation of cars and trams when completed. It's a very long route, and the driver must be constantly alert, not only for the car traffic but also the pedestrians and many bicycles, clanging his warning bell in anticipation of what they might do. It's a very responsible job and potentially stressful. I noted how he thoughtfully held the tram for a disabled woman who held her hand up. After completing this two-hour round trip, I expect that the driver gets a good rest time. I hope he is paid well!
