I was just thinking after watching for 2 hours and almost 20 mins, that it was quite amazing how not a single div had been written thus far. Almost immediately you went to explain how divs and spans convey no semantic meaning and should be avoided whenever possible. Amazing tutorial thus far! As a backend dev in need of becoming full stack, I did some research before deciding on an html and css teacher that would follow modern, proper standards and MDN... so glad to have found your content!

Wow. I found this course over on fCC but wanted to leave my comment on your page. You're awesome. I finally finished all of the lessons this morning. I have been working on completing as much of the LTS website as possible before I watch your walkthrough. I know I'm missing a lot but I was also able to complete a ton. I will say that when I first started the LTS page I didn't take the time to validate the code after each section. Big mistake! Good thing is I learned how to debug. Thank you so much, you're such an incredible teacher! I did the course over 3 days; starting out knowing very little about HTML. Yet by working through your course and referencing my notes whenever I forgot the exact syntax of something, I was able to complete the project without needing to look at the walkthrough! The only thing I did different to how you taught was putting inside of , is this okay to do? To me it makes more sense to have a "section" on a topic with h2 containing related "articles" with h3's.

It took me 12 hours to get through the course and 1.5 hours to recreate the Little Taco Shop and I genuinely learned much more than I thought I would. Excellent job with this course Dave. I'm most excited about the tutorials on the form, I struggled a lot with that. If CSS had not removed the need to use the table element(s), I would have enjoyed creating tables. It's funny how I'm seeing the 'description list' tag for the first time, this revelation came in handy. The overall course is well done. Hello Dave, @3:04:40 when you toggle the code, and copy paste, how come the copy paste has different inputs? where that came from? Also, when you select a word and delete it, it deletes all the related words within the code line, but i am not able to do it. Same goes with copy paste. I have to right click to copy and paste, otherwise VS code freezes, and i have to press random keys really hard to activate it.

Hello Dave, Thank you very much for your great tutorials! Just Finished the Little Taco Project! Very Happy! Managed to do it on my own! Studying your CSS tutorial as well, half way through. Your tutorials are great! The way you narrate the material makes it easy to understand. You truly make it for people to learn. Thank you

@@DaveGrayTeachesCode I like it very much. It took away the fear of coding. Now going back to your tutorials again and again while coding my own website. Seriously thinking of continuing to study the code. Please keep up the great job. I got a lot of information from your tutorials. I also have some questions though or suggestions, it would be great to have say monthly challenges to build some simple websites and afterwards you could explain your own way of coding, just as an idea. Also flexbox...i understood its application for nav and things like that but how to build the whole website using it , i cant get it, somehow there is a block in my head..... anyway i am just talking it all out. Thanks a lot dear Dave.
