That could be due to miscalculation of the multiplication (magnification) factor. On larger X-rays and careful measurement the likelihood of error reduces

Thank you for the great video! I have a quick question here, 4:37 How do I suppose to decide the initial osteotomy line from osteotomy hinge? The video just says draw line to medial, and distal. How distal should the osteotomy line should be planned?

but mechanical axis after correction is lateral to the base of the lateral tibial spine (more that 62.5 percent from medial aspect) @2:30 @5:32. in any case, maybe 55 percent (tip of the lateral tibial spine) would be a better target to keep the angle of correction smaller.
