Hey nice review Chris and like you say it's brilliant for the money. With the FLYSKY T100 if you have a full battery you can do a discharge down to storage charge. Does take an age though. My mate has got a unit which is specifically just for discharging and it gets a full battery to storage charge in about 10 minutes. Very useful but it only does that function and it's about £70. Anyway good stuff 😁👍

Hey there Pete buddy :) , Yeah the T100 will discharge down to storage levels but unfortunately at 0.5 amps max which is a real shame . ive wondered about specific discharge units , Can you tell one which one hes using ? would love to pick one up when my hobby room is built up . I bought my T240 in 2018. It's still working, but I'm not quite happy with it: voltage measurement accuracy became very bad (0.1 V offset error for the cells). It wouldn't be a problem, this is why it has calibration feature. I can calibrate it, it works ok, but after power loss, it forgets all the calibration values. So I have to recalibrate every time, when I turn it on. Other downside is the internal resistance measurement: it gives you a random value every time you repeat the measurement for the same battery. Beside this, I love the touch screen control and the preset memory feature, it makes the charging process pretty quick.

I had my charge die (B6) and went for one of these, after watching Razorrcs review. I also bought from AliExpress. But my seller sent me the T150, same charger but single. AliExpress took over the case and paid back more then the difference, I’m disappointed I didn’t get the duel charger but still a good quality charger all the same! Thanks for the overview/review

im using 2 IDST D2 chargers atm and find the same the discharge rate is poor, great review looks a cracking charger will get one, to overcome the discharging we got the ISDT discharger it draws upto 6amps

There are some great chargers around these days, especially if you buy from the right places. I have the brilliant Hota S6 ac400w dc650w 15a duel smart charger, also the I Charger 106b+ & a GT Power 50w charger ( hardly ever use this one now, but good as a stand by ) Re discharging, as good as the Hota s6 is for discharging compared with a lot of chargers, I prefer to use a designated discharger. I use the little ISDT FD-100, this discharges at an unbelievable rate compared with any smart charger out there. I think this discharger when I bought it a few years ago was around £27 when it was on offer, you can also get the more powerfull more expensive ISDT FD-200 discharger as well for more money obviously today.

Hey buddy , sorry for the late reply . Well it all depends on what settings your going to use on the charger to be quite honest with you . I mean normally most charge at a 1c rating so for every 1000 mah its 1 amp ! But from time to time you can charge higher and safely . Stay awesome Chris :)

T100 Does discharge just put it on storage charge it will discharge but it is very slow., but for not much more money than t100 this looks like a much better charger .

Hi buddy , Well the T100 as you say has a storage mode , Yes technically it does discharge but at only 0.5 Amps , but this T240 Duo has a dedicated discharge more that will allow you to discharge at a full 2 amps so 4x the speed , and when your running large packs like 8000 mah and 10000 mah this is a life saver . As you say hardly a difference in price and loads more features . Stay awesome Chris :)

I've got the older c240 its a decent charger for the money the only problem is it'll only charge at 5.4A max, but had it nearly a year and it still works

Hey buddy , Ive replied on Facebook , the price is slightly increased then buddy , but if you look around on there you’ll find it cheaper I believe. It’s like anything that’s imported us in the uk have to pay 20% tax which is not fair at all . Although everything in the UK is at 20% these days . But still for the price i think for the features are great . it puts itself between the T100 and T200 or more expensive chargers nicely . Stay awesome buddy , Chris :)

I've listed in the description Nick of a link to pick one up . Yes should you want to purchase from amazon the price is a lot higher , but from Aliexpress its alot cheaper buddy . Clearly the seller on amazon has over inflated the price . Chris :)

@@ChriswithaCrc I'll not use Aliexpress. Only eBay (UK sellers only) or Amazon (same.) I'm not so sure it is the seller inflating the price so much as them having to factor in the import duty and VAT. These are the hidden costs you can't always avoid. I got my fingers burned buying from China. Never again. I've bought good quality Chinese products on Amazon that are sold by UK sellers. I'm happy to do that if the cost is not too over the top.
