I'm a true freshman to PicoCTF before this last month, if that makes sense. Sports fans get it. Anyway, I was using Firefox and it is different than Chrome. Not only appearance but method. Anyone out there using Firefox keep your Devtools open when navigating pages so the cookie doesn't disappear. The rest of it is pretty straightforward

It would be easy for you to describe an HTML Cookie as an analogy to having a Lanyard and Badge to a security conference or Musical Concert where the type of badge you have allows you to have regular privileges or back stage access. The Badge is only in use for the duration of the event.

Thanks for the video. You are the reason, that I met with a friend in real life to play picoctf trough the night ^^ thanks for the inspiration, it's 8am now and I'm tired at but it was fun and we learned a lot :D I'm wondering, how do your save and finish commands work? Just aliases or are there CTF tools which do this?

see video 8 in the series. John was blown away by the ease of the challenge so went on for another 15 minutes to create some bash scripts to do the save/finish thing. it was a sweet vid made from nothing but pure inspiration

Come on modifying biscuits !?!? How does not anyone thouth of that ... Biscuits are normally crypted and browser protected...
