Hey friends. I feel the need to update you all. About 3 weeks ago my Amazon press went out on me. When turned on … the power switch would light up but the press would not heat up. I reached out to the company but never got a response. I ordered a new press attachment from a different company but that still didn’t fix the issue. Mind you the day before it went out I had pressed about 20 tumblers back to back and didn’t give the machine any downtime. I ended up taking it apart and tried my best to troubleshoot with the help of YT. No luck. A good friend who can fix just about anything took a look at it and said that he discovered a bad lead wire. He replaced the wire and said it’s heating just fine. I should have it back in my possession next week and will put it back to use. I truly believe this is a great machine but I overheated it or overused it that day.

@karenbaskettdiyerАй бұрын
Hi! Several factors. Sounds like you might need to print your image a tiny bit larger to avoid a seam. I’ve never really experienced tape marks. Just be sure that you’re using as a little tape as possible and barely overlapping it onto where your image shows if that makes sense..? I don’t use a lot of tape. It could also be a pressure issue if your machine is applying too much pressure than that could cause tape marks I would think. Sometimes these machines are pretty finicky . I’m sorry I’m probably not a lot of help.

Well i got mine today and its going back lol i knew it, after trying the cricut one and 2 other variations of auto mug press machines. This is the worst because 11oz mugs barely fit in without the sub paper and parchment. With the sub paper etc on the mugs all taped tight and flat i can not just slide them inside i have to wiggle and tilt the mugs to get it to slide in this is causing the heat to message up the print with having to mess about getting them in Also when i did slide them in and it auto shuts there is not a even gap each side of the handle so the machine pushes the mug around and so the handle is flat against the side of the machine and you have the gap at the other side of the handle which is resulting in not enough heat and pressure at that side of the handle This press may be ok for non full wrap mugs but full wrap it sucks Last time.i trust HTVRONT tbh as thei normal autopress was crap too and you had to add extra padding to get it to work Wasted 4 mugs lol

I have a couple of questions…. I noticed that the temp on the HTV press was 20 degrees higher than on your OG press. I thought the time & temp were set by the mfg / material. Since everything except the press were the same, wouldn’t the temp also be? I’ve had the “film” show up when my temp was too high or I pressed too long. If it’s not too bad, it may wash off. I did bake the “snot” out of one that did not survive, though. Could the difference in the temps be the reason?
@karenbaskettdiyer11 ай бұрын
The HTVRont actually has suggested settings for stainless 370-390 for 120-240sec, glass and ceramic are different. My original one does not so I just had to play around with it, google it, read reviews and figure out the best temp. It took a few tries but the 365 for 60x2 is what I found worked best. Not sure if you noticed but the HTVRont paper was browned when I took it out... so I think that it did cause the paper to stick. Just had never happened to me before but I washed it right off.
