I very much enjoyed your analysis again you guys! HuaHua suffered a bout of depression in early 2019, mostly because he’s been overworked and mistreated by his company for years. He chose to express his feelings in this trio of songs, but since Hua is a strong person but not confrontational, he chose them with beautiful light music composition and used meaningful metaphors in his lyrics. In Madhouse, Hua is actually completely broken down, he realizes what’s been done to him over and over and describes the feelings he went through during that time. The trilogy is Madhouse, I really want to love this world and Conversation with the children of Mars (He’s playing the beginning of Conversation at the end of Madhouse). HuaHua has changed the order of the trilogy a few times. I think you should react next to I really want to love this world though, because this song depicts more clearly why he broke down, the music is light and beautiful whereas the lyrics are very poignant. Conversation with the Children of Mars is more a redemption song composed and sung with and for the Martians to reassure them about his recovery. 7 Personalities is considered Nr 0 in the trilogy. Very much looking forward to your next reaction, thank you so much!

Really enjoyed your reaction.Your analysis is spot on. Madhouse is the second piece in Mars Trilogy. According to Hua Hua, the 0th piece is Seven Personalities which is a summary of the trilogy. The first piece in the trilogy is "I Really Want to Love This World", then "Madhouse" and the third one is Conversations with Children of Mars. Obviously the trilogy +1 is a summary of his somewhat painful journey about depression (Love this World) and the near break down experience (Madhouse). He himself explained that in both of these songs, the melodies he used are relaxed and even sounds cheerful because a lot of time, people in depression looks normal. Unless you pay real close attention to him, you can't see his sorrow. I think these two songs delivered that feeling perfectly because to a lot of people (including a lot of fans), they think that the Madhouse is a happy madhouse in which everybody is simply having fun if they ignore the sub context of the songs. Hua Hua is a genius artist great at delivering these very subtle and complex psychological states to the audience. The third one is like that he finally decided to reach out and breaks his silence and explain to people how he is. Looking forward to other reactions.

Hello, thank you for this great reaction video. Don´t be afraid there is no right or wrong in the interpretation of Hua Hua's music. He once said, "It's wonderful when 500 people listen to one of his songs and each person has their own interpretation of the song. Because everyone has their own/different experiences in their lives. There are 2 trilogies in his latest album. 1. i really want to love this world/Madhouse/Conversations with children from Mars (this trilogy is about mental health/him fighting out of depression) and 2. God Tree/Arrival/New World (Trilogy about Destruction/Rebirth/a New World basically about us treating our environment in a better way). Looking forward to your next video. The songs I really want to love this world or Bullfighting would be great. Thank you.

Don't be afraid, we won't bite you.. heheheh We all agree that Hua is a live performer, watching his live performance video is adding so much depth into the song. I also feel the same with Wetwet's thought, he looks like happy in the madhouse but the ending part shows that no matter how hard he tried to ignore, he can't really get out from the unhappy state.

I enjoy any reaction when reactors are trying to comprehend and analyse what they just heard. Then theres not a matter of right or wrong. ( well i have heard reactors say Madhouse is such a happy and fun song) Madhouse is a song of contradiction and opposites. Theres freedom in madness, but also constraints. Marley used his reggae rythmes the same way to describe the harsh reality of life. Hcy has talked about suffering from depression but not in any detail or what was causing it. So thats just guesswork. Anyways he worked himself through it and brought us more wonderful music.

He sang all the harmonies, chorus (except conversation with Martian children) in his latest album New World which is about Big love, protecting environment, caring for others , human nature etc. He rarely does music videos because he wants each person to have their own vision, feeling and interpretation and not be confined by the video clips. I recommend watching 'Bullfighting' live before doing the music video

四专的歌的话除了与火星的孩子对话，cd里的和声都是华晨宇一个人的。疯人院的话演唱会&歌手版带来的意境差别很大。歌迷用了两个版本做了个故事剪辑得空可以自己看一看b23.tv/BV1MK411j7zi 华晨宇说过不会分享自己的画面感，只是希望听歌的人自己感受。如果一首歌有500个人听到就有500个画面，那是很美好的一件事😘
