Several years ago I was watching a Chinese drama where 2 characters formed a mutual admiration society on learning they were both Martians (Hua Chenyu fans). Curious, I looked him up and that became my most favourite product placement ever. I love his voice and the emotion in his singing. While I have looked up translated lyrics, I am usually listening without them in front of me. His singing and arrangements tap into my emotions with or without my remembering what the song is about. I really enjoyed your reaction!

Thank you for a really enjoyable reaction. Huahua is a rare talent, he is a true artist, he performs rather than recites songs, he feels the emotions and connects with them in a way that is very unusual but beautiful and sincere. Off stage he is shy, quiet and private individual which is almost contradictory to his stage persona. Id recommend Qi Tian, jackdaw boy from singer 2020, Madhouse, Bullfighting, or if you want to see him live check the Hua chenyu english Subs channel, the 2021 concert performance of I really want my old self back, or the 2023 performance of when the whole world forgets me. So many wonderful pieces composed by him.

Either pronounce his name "Watchin you", or use his nickname Hua Hua (pronounced "Hwah Hwah"). 👍 This performance, along with his "Dad I'm home" (which has been removed as a live performance with subtitles 😔) are his famous artistic ones Yes. Hypnotised. The audience holding their breaths too. Maybe try "I am what I am". You may find Concert videos/Fancams are safer for avoiding copyright.

I enjoyed your reaction as much as I enjoyed hearing the song, which I've watched a thousand times. Watching someone's first time seeing it is such a trip. It is profound, spooky, and musically unique in its beauty. It's also a little mean, self-deprecating, and dishonest. This is no monk, the worst thing that can happen to someone is to fall in love with someone who's on his way out the door, and he admits that he hides from people while simultaneously seeking their attention.
