Appreciate your reactions. Yes his voice is so clear, smooth, soothing, raw, raspy, rock, etherial etc. As with Dimash, very versatile and each song has its element of surprises but a bit more out of the box artistic performer. He has some epic duets; Nanping Bells, Perhaps Love, insignificance, Mr. Lonely. And yes "Dad I'm Home" is the one you need to have Eng Sub. It's reaaranged from the original song which is all rap. He rearranged to a totally different style/presentation. I don't care is more of his rock style which is his own song he composed. Spring is another beautiful one he rearranged. All his performances from the shows the Next seasons S1 an S2 are well worth watching. This show gives his composing talent to rearrange songs within 24 hours.

Dimash and Hua Chenyu is truly something else. Though I have lots of other artists I truly love and admire, Huahua and Dimash are in my opinion the best artists out there. In a lot of ways, those two are so alike, but also the opposite of each other. Dimash is a showman with such an AMAZING voice and he has such unbelievable control over it. His technique and voice are out of this world. Hua Chenyu is so diverse and he has such a unique mind that I greatly admire. I have learned a lot from him, and people call him "the boy from Mars" because they think he is so unusual(I think in a good way, but there is alway haters that will say otherwise). He values the feeling you should have while performing over the technical aspect and he is one of a kind performer. (And it was in Fake Monk HuaHua sang about his past. His parents got divorced when he was 2-3 years old. He lived with a father that was bearly home, never ever complimented him or showed him any form of affection but showed much love to the sister he later got(he loves his sister and doesn't blame her for his father's actions). I think he said he saw his mother maybe once half a year or something, and he was left alone a lot, which he later learned to enjoy. HuaHua is so good at adapting to "our" world, even if a lot of things doesn't make sense to him, he has learned to accept and then enjoys whatever or whichever circumstances he finds himself in. He and his father aren`t on bad terms, and HuaHua says he understands what his father was doing. Which I can`t really understand, I would never leave my child to grow up on his own, especially not if he was diagnosed with autism at a young age(wich Huahua was). But guess that`s just another thing I truly admire about him, and he did grow up to become an amazing human being instead of going "rough" as most children and teenagers would do:)) If you get to know their personalities, you will notice they are both so youthful. It is easy to think of them as younger then they are, but they are both in their twenties(almost thirties in Huahua`s case). And Hua Chenyu`s fans are called the "Martians" or "ET" as we are fans of a "boy from Mars";) (Go to "華晨宇字幕組Hua Chenyu English Subs " channel, there you can find all of Huahua`s songs with English subtitles)

Thanks for the reaction，Hua is almost always about serving the song/music. if he seemed cocky in a performance，that'd just be his interpretation what the music calls for. For the performance of 'Child', Hua has another version which he sang at his concert last year (How I wish I was there), arrangement was different from Singer 2018. Singer performance is more of a innocent child, but my heart aches for the concert child… More of Hua plz! What genre(s) of music do the two of you like? We can pretty much taylor recs based on your preference.

Hua Henyu does a remake of another contestants song from same show. His name is Tengri . They both do the same song, but very different the song is bad azz. Hua has a voice that has a surreal quality...almost electronic.. He is a performer that is eclectic and well rounded. Check out his "Flammable Explosive" performance on Singer 2018. It has almost a "Phantom of the opera" feel to it. Hua has said he grew up basically alone all the time..his dad went to work without even leaving food for him. He said he spent hours playing music and singing..but alone, no lessons. He is a self taught star. He won a talent show called Super Boy a few years back, and I think he has perfect pitch. Anyway..much love guys!😎💞

As an Englishman who doesn't speak a word of Chinese (I'm assuming mandarin) I prefer to watch hua chenyu without subtitles so I can interpret the song for myself because every performance seems like it's not only telling a story but also trying (and succeeding) to take us on a journey through our own souls

I think the are called Martians. Hua has a joke going with the Martians telling him to do this and do that. One of his concerts was even called the Mars Concert and it was very entertaining. The song about his childhood is called Fake Monk. Type in and read the background to Fake Monk before reacting a second time. It was very difficult for him to relive that time period, but Hua is first and foremost a performer.
