Hua Chenyu Reaction - Conversations With Martian Children

Finishing the trilogy - I feel like my reaction and response might seem a little strange this time around - I have a strange thought process towards a lot of things and this one just hit me a bit different than what I was expecting and I feel bad now that I think about it because I'm pretty sure my conclusion or reaction isn't quite what he was hoping people would get out of it - but that being said, here is the finale!

I like your honest reaction. You feel what you feel, don't worry that you feel different from others about the song. Hua Hua once said in an interview:" The audience does not have to think about what I am expressing when listening to me singing, they only needs to have their own pictures. For example, if there are 500 people at the scene, if they have 500 pictures, wouldn't it be a beautiful thing?" When I listen to this song, I often imagine a person in a conversation with him/herself ☺️ I really hope you will react to his Sacred Tree and Arrival, both composed by him. I strongly recommend you to react to them together, because they are conected like yin and yang, and they are about the destruction and rebirth of the world. I love these two songs so much, especially Sacred Tree, It's too bad they are seriously underrated.

You are right, it was so painful and worrying to the max to learn what he went through, we really needed to be reassured he got over this depression, he understood how fans felt and did everything he could to reassure them on multiple occasions. But he came out of it stronger, feeling even more loved and 2020 has been a fantastic year for him. HuaHua is very grateful to his fan base and always prepares a song to sing with the audience for all his concerts, or he’ll just play the piano and let them sing. He will release the title a few days before the concert so fans can rehearse. My favorite is King and Beggars at his 2017 Beijing concert, that was touching and so fun. Your reactions are so “raw” and true to yourself. Your openness to share your honest opinion is heart warming. There’s also a beautiful MV version of this song. There is a short clip at the beginning that shows how he collaborated with few of the Martians to create such meaningful lyrics, which by the way one only two songs he himself wrote. The other is “Why nobody fights” with just one line of lyrics. There’s a MV version and many concert ones.

Excellent reaction. Be sure to watch the MV so you can see how the song was written. HuaHua describes the relationship between himself and the Martians as one of mutual guardianship. I think that's a good word for it.

I never felt truly happy about any happy ending of fairy tales. I felt released yet not hopeful, I don't imagine the future, especially the good ones, I can't even enjoy it from other people's perspective. that's why I sometimes feel sad seeing others can feel good and hopeful, how I can't even persuade me to be. But only if I open up to dream and construct the positive feed back, as well as beloved's approval and support, instead of always having been ignoring how I was feeling, I quickly become feeling the "right" emotion to Things, disorders occur much less often

Please, please, watch the music video of Conversations With Martian Children for 2 reasons: 1) it adds a lot to his meaning and adds another layer to the live version, and 2) it might be the most healing piece of art I've ever seen. ❤️

If you are ready for 7 Personalities, i actually recommend the first performance he did the last day of his 2019 concert. There are only 3 in total, from a new year gala and Singer 2020. Both of them slightly downplayed compared to the raw emotions of the concert version.
