Been living in Hua Hin for about 7 years, great tourist review, hit on all the major tourist attractions. Well done mate 👍 As you asked, I would also highly recommend Harry’s bar and restaurant Soi 6, especially for the Sunday Roast and English breakfast, but all the English grub is on the menu, including London Pie mash and liquor. Mukti Indian restaurant hin Lek Fai and L’Occitan steak restaurant also in Hin Lek Fai, both are great. I would also recommend some of the elephant sanctuaries, great opportunities to get up close and feed these iconic animals. Also Hua Hin Safari, bit of a drive being in Thap Tai, but well worth the trip. It’s a bit pricey for tourist, but again well worth it in my opinion. Feeding and getting up close to the giraffes was the highlight of my daughters visit Fantastic review!

Interesting to see another persons take on Hua Hin, it's funny how we can stay in similar places and have different experiences. I stayed in La Casita where you are in the video for 3 months this year and have completely different recommendations ;-) I loved Thi Baan Bistro a short walk from Hua Hin Kitchen, which we thought was pretty overpriced for what it offered. On Soi 94 Morning Bread does a good value breakfast and a good Pad Krapow although the best one we had - was at C'Cup Home Café & Restaurant right down the end of soi 88. Also don't miss the pad krapow samosas at Baanbunma on the main road down in Khao Takiab, actually order anything here.. its all good and insanely cheap. A rooftop bar we enjoyed was Lost and Found down by Cicada (pronounced like the insect) night market. We found lots to love about Hua Hin and are booked to go back in Feb. It's certainly not just for old people.
@josh.onthemove2 ай бұрын
Haha it is interesting, I think after a while you tend to gravitate towards the places you’ve enjoyed and the more places you go to which you don’t enjoy, just encourage you to go back to what you know you liked. @davidwilliams75522 ай бұрын

Budget wise, HH would be better 100%. Being completely honest - your training options and likelihood of people living and breathing training, there’ll be a much larger amount of people on Samui and Phkt. I love HH but if I was just living and breathing training for a month or two, Phuket would probably be my first choice. You do pay a premium though, hope this helps 👍
