HUACACHINA PERU 🇵🇪 Desert Oasis - What They Don't Show You!

Hey guys, we are traveling from Paracas to Huacachina in Peru. We find this desert oasis and share what they don’t show you.
In this week’s video, we will show you Huacachina Desert Oasis. We will share what they don’t show you and Huacachina at its best! Huacachina is an incredible oasis that comprises a lake with a tiny town and massive desert sand dunes surrounding it. Unfortunately, Huacachina is not as clean and manicured the way it’s showcased on KZbin and other social media. It still doesn’t take away how incredibly beautiful it is. We had a great time sand-boarding, riding in a dune buggy, exploring the town, and climbing the dunes a few times to enjoy, view, and get incredible 4K drone shots of Huacachina.

► WHO WE ARE?
We are Gladys and Kenny, we finally made our dreams a reality. In January 2018, we downsized and take the necessary steps to pursue our dream, to travel full time for as long as we can. We rented our house, moved into our attached studio apartment, and continued to travel on a part-time basis until it prepared us for full-time travel. On June 30, 2019, we left to travel the world full-time. The first stop was Bali, Indonesia. It wasn't a simple decision to leave our friends and family. However, you only live once and we didn't want to live with any regrets. We want to document our journey, so we recently did so with vlogs on KZbin and Social Media.

Woah, those are some INTENSE sand dunes! Sledding down them looked like so much fun, it reminds me of a place called Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado where you can also sandboard on the dunes! It must have been exhausting to climb them like you guys did hahaha

From that vantage point the city looks beautiful against the sand. And I get it...I went to a beach in Ghana and trash was everywhere - people in the comments criticized it but while there I was focused on finding all of the beauty despite of the blight.

Garbage is a major issue in Peru sadly people aren’t taught about proper sanitation.

We Peruvians need to do a better job keeping these touristic places clean and attractive so more people would be willing to visit, perhaps stay longer and require other services. New jobs will be created and opportunities for new businesses arise creating a better way of life for everyone.
