I think both boys were welcomed and nurtured into a foster family, with a loving, supportive male father model and protective sister. Both boys seem to have lost their mothers by the end of episode 2. It will be interesting to watch how their perspectives on relationships with a woman will be molded as a result. The dynamics between these three with also be interesting with Seven being the female lead;-). I expect them both to have some bruises (LOL). The little girl had glimpses of Seven right from the start!

Ling Xiao's mother is so cruel, how can she blame her son and say he killed his own sister. It's so heartless, now the poor child will grow up knowing that his own mother thinks his a murderer which will live a scare in his heart. She should have seeked some help from a psychologist if she can't live with the guilt of loosing a child. Ling Xiao is also grieving, he lost his sister at such a young age on top of that his own mother is blaming him as if he was supposed to take care of his sister. Where was their mother when the child choked on the walnut? Jianjians father is the perfect example of how parents should be like. Shield your children from being hurt and give them hope. Jianjians father just got scammed, He Mei is not coming back, I'm sure she regretted having a child and thought of dumping her son so she can live her life or find a rich man to take care of her. Honestly the husband of Chen ting deserves more. No offense to Chen ting but she isn't fulfilling her role as a mom. The dad works so hard outside of the house while she literally ignores her son. Chen ting needs some help.

She's only focusing on her grief/what she lost. She doesn't care about her son's needs because she's so consumed by her own guilt/she taking it out on her husband/son. She does need help but I wonder if all of her actions is related to losing her daughter or is this part of her character. She selfishly left her son alone with his sister so she could go out with her friends. She's demonstrating the same type of selfishness that lead to the tragedy the family is experiencing now so I'm not sure if her actions at this point is all about her grief.

The childhood scenes are really well directed . My favourite is where the little Jinjian rushes at every chance she gets to throw little Ziqui' s suitcase. It's so cute and hilarious. I love the details and the progress of this show. The way Ling Xiao opens up to Jinjian and her father, it can be seen on the way he sits on the stairs, getting closer to their door as days went by. It clearly shows that he's becoming close to the girl and her father. This show can really touched its viewers. It reflects the reality of every family having its different experiences, difficulties and also the way the parents take care of their own children. And also, we can definitely see the beauty of innocence of a child, the way they see the world is really simple yet they are still responsible, knowing when to forgive and give. This will surely be one of my favorite series ever.
