Rental in Mexico (and the US) have certainly gone up in the last few years.....Social Security has NOT kept up. Since I don't own a time travel machine, I guess I need to start saving a bit more aggressively for a future in beautiful Mexico!

@@harlyredhonda9938Prices have gone up in every country. In Canada, that apartment would be at least $1600 a month, without the nice climate so that patio would only be usable a few months of the year.

kelly, you are correct about prices going up. over 6 years we rented a studio apartment for 1900. pesos per month. That same place today is 7,000. pesos per month. Fred

@@lifeinhuatulco The cost surprised me also given the condition of the building outside and the kitchen. Huatulco is more expensive that I imagined. Love the tour though and I hope you'll do many more! 🧡💛

rakamas, most are expensive and you can find some in 4k to 5k/month. Fred
