I just received my permanent residency in Mexico and am looking for a place in Huatulco. I have three medium-sized dogs that need a yard with a wall around it. I am coming from Costa Rica, so I am used to the Tico lifestyle. It is cooler where we are at now because we are in the mountains. It never gets over 80 degrees F. It's just me and my wife, and the three dogs.In Costa Rica, it's common to find yards with walls around them, and freestanding homes not attached to others. I was in Puerto Vallarta last week and it seemed nearly impossible to find. Does that exist in or around Huatulco, and how would I find it?

@@lifeinhuatulco thank you for replying to my comment and thank you for the FB page, I will check it out. just not know where to start or where to go, I do want to be by the water, my body craves the heat in the sand, I have had many many health problems and every time I sit in the warm sand by the water it does miracles for my body maybe even the salt and minerals in the water that are lacking in my body.

:Thanks for advice on the Topes! I was the unfortunate back-seat rider when the car hit a tope going 59 miles an hour ... it was a highway going through the countryside and the bump was NOT marked! I was drowsy so I was like a ragdoll flopping up and back when he suddenly also slammed on the breaks after hitting that bump.... My whiplash has Never truly healed, and it's been over 2 years! So Good Idea to be careful!! Blessings to both of you!

Bahias de Huatulco is a place with 9 bays including 36 beaches. Where we live is now called Santa Cruz Huatulco. The city hall is 25 minutes away in a town calles Santa Cruz Huatulco. It is not a beach town.

Rent is higher. If you buy and do not have rent it is easier. If you can cook at home, not smoke or drink and generally in good health, live in a studio, you can live happy happy

Hi There. Yes I have been on 2 projects: A. cataract surgery out of town (great success). B. A big surprise for my viewers coming soon. Hoping to upload a vid soon. We have water. And for now it is not rationed. Each weekend lots and lots of buses arrive on Fridays with Mexican vacationers. They use lots of water in the hotels because they normally have a big number of family members in each hotel room. The good thing is that they leave Sunday night leaving the water tinacos time to re fill.
