Huawei AVATR 11 Is Made By Changan & CATL | A Luxury Electric SEV Based on CHN Platform

The Avatr is a young EV upstart, but there are three huge corporations standing behind it. Avatr 11 is their first production model based on CHN platform. C represents Changan Automobile, which is well-known, and large automaker in China. So Changan help for the vehicle design, and production. H represents Huawei, which is responsible for the software part, and the autonomous driving. N for Ningde Shidai or we call it Contemporary Amperex Technology - an energy storage company. It’s very large car batteries supplier for most of electric vehicles. Three corporations provide their most advanced technologies together on the Avatr 11.

For those wondering, battery is CATL ternary (Lithium nickel, manganese, and cobalt) from 90kwh to 116kwh (according to alibaba) the high end price is probably higher than the given here. What I would like to know is. If the interface is language customizable? That thing is beautiful and importing things from china is not so hard (in certain regions) but if not in english it would be hard to deal with it at least for me.

Presumably, Avatr is a preemptive Chinese response (CHN - abbrevation of Chinese 👈) to mythical Apple Car. Why Apple car? - because Huawei is the leading IT company in China, having a lot of money to finance such a project. Changan is one of leading (albeit state-owned) car producers, and CATL is the world leader producer of batteries (for Tesla and others). The alliance is really powerful to create strong product and provide necessary engineering, production, IT and financial backing.

Hi there Eduard, it has 90 kWh and 116 kWh battery as options. 0-80% in about 25mins, and 30-80% in about 15 mins, but for the actual electricity consumption we don't know yet. Thanks for asking that!

The design looks quite experimental, more like a concept car than model ready for production. The car has a lot unorthodox ideas, and some of them don't suit my appreciation - for example the console between seats - both in front and rear row. Small rear windows also need some improvement.
