With all of these videos being uploaded at the same time, i only want to watch Mr. Mobile's for three reasons. 1. I like getting a consistent person to see their hands on experience. 2. Your videos and their sound, editing, and b roll footage are all just spectacular 3. (not a big deal to some people) captions as soon as you upload. This is so underrated, but i love reading what is being said. It's a shame bigger channels don't do this as they write scripts anyways. Thanks Mr. Mobile

Weixing Tang good points... Also if they crammed everything in the phone and gave people the perfect phone, y'all would complain about a $2000 phone price! Especially if it looked like every other phone... now you have options. Everyone doesn't need a headphone jack or SD slot.those are minor comprises...
@KINGKACE17 жыл бұрын
Chemy Torres they have plenty money. The thing is they are staying cost effective for other countries! Not everyone wants to pay $1000 for a phone. People always want good features but at low cost. If they added everything to the phone that people wanted, you would ask why it costs so much...

really ? i had a mate 9, i hated the dull colors, keep in mind i also have an ipad mini 2 and i couldn't stand the display of the mate 9, plus... it was too big for just 1080p, everything looked soft.
@cyrilmatthew29957 жыл бұрын
to both of u guys ...ahm ... i dont use Huawei has as my primary device, I bought it for my dad.. It was a 2016 P9, i managed to grab it at an awesome deal. Coming to the point, color saturation and vibrancy is personal preference and i didn't mentioned the display as the best one. Its hard to find smart phones with cent percent color accuracy even though some manufactures claim (LG G2 ) their IPS LCDs are natural, in reality it isn't. These days manufacturers generally over saturate LCDs to look as vibrant and vivid as OLEDs and OLEDs comes with options to reduce saturation to natural which feels over washed out than its supposed to be. To find a balanced display, its impossible for smartphones. Its personal preference. Phone isn't nature ... it has to be so .. i agree. There are circumstances in which an OLED excels especially in terms of blacks.. real blacks... brightness etc... While watching movies in my Tv which is an IPS LCD, i really misses deep blacks especially in scenes that have more blacks like space or night scenes etc ... But if i have an OLED TV i would anyday prefer watching in it but for me its too overpriced for my purpose and is a dead investment. I am a content creator and for me color accuracy is really really important for me. For editing i use a Macbook pro and before uploading i watch my work (video or photos) on multiple desktop screens which includes couple of LG , DELL and with many smartphones (since most of our audiences watch us through phones) that includes P9, iPhone 7 +, S7 , my v20 and other of team's phones. So i've to ensure that i always make a proper balance while color grading coz it couldnt be over saturated nor washed out. If i over saturate it, the audiences will be missing a lot of details a llott especially OLED users & if its under saturated it will have other trouble and it varies. I dont generaly use ipads, we have an ipad mini 2014 at office. recently we don't use it that much and i've not tested it with other devices in terms of sharpness... But i really like Sony's flagship with that 4k screen... its brightness and vibrancy is really outstanding and blacks are really blacks ... in normal conditions its hard to differenciate it with OLEDs...

Well said, there is no comparison between LCD and amoled. Anyone can tell the clear winner. Just try once, there is no going back after using one.
@NeXMaX7 жыл бұрын
I personally prefer OLED, for one reason. The deep black levels
@wyw2017 жыл бұрын
Huawei does not utilize active color management for its LCD, especially when it comes to transcribing color from one color gamut to another. If color accuracy is of high priority, Apple and Samsung panels (turning off auto) both invest heavily in that area where each panel is calibrated and checked before assembly. Additionally, Apple dedicates runtime to active color management in iOS to ensure color accuracy across apps.

Huawei makes solid phones, but their company focuses on a Chinese audience. Believe it or not, most people in China either use Huawei or iPhone. Not many use Samsung or other brands like that. China also has their own smartphone brands that even me as a Hong Kong resident (part of China, special administrative region) has barely heard of: Oppo, and Vivo. These are mostly just iPhone copycats and that's why Huawei and iPhone seem so appealing.

Rahul Dhakne I want extra ram instead of headphone jack. What the problem with you guys, what's the matter if their is no headphone jack????? They are giving you usb type c headphones inside the box, You can use them. There is no problem in using usb type c than a 3.5 mm pin
@owenyang92167 жыл бұрын
HR Tech can you charge your phone while listening to music?? Please... Just because you dont need it doesnt mean it is ok to remove a feature on the "better model"
@rahuldhakne85777 жыл бұрын
There a lot more to it than "just another port". The problem is how usb c isn't as universal it seems. Anyone can make headphones for the jack, its an open standard, you don't require a license, that's not case with any proprietary standard i.e. USB c. Manufacturers can change the rules anytime. They could just make headphone manufactures pay for it, which will make it more expensive.
@NeXMaX7 жыл бұрын
HR Tech Let me say this. I have multiple USB-C devices and I also have a 3.5mm dongle that came with one of them. The dongle literally only works with ONE device and ONE device only. It literally does not work with all the other USB-C devices. If OEMs want to kill off the jack, then they need to push for a proper universal standard. Sorry, but I cannot for the life of me understand why they are willing to literally downgrade to this whole mess unless said universal standard is already used. And this has nothing to do with wireless.

So much hype and then we get this dissappointing phone. Makes fun of Apple & Samsung in their event and is still behind them in everything. Smh!
@allyssa88387 жыл бұрын
Atulya Aman I wouldn't really say everything. Have you watched the keynote? Sure, the IP5X and IP67 ratings on both models may be disappointing, but you'd be blind not to recognize how much they invested on the AI processor. Also, it's too early to tell if they are truly "behind in everything" as you say as the handsets have not been thoroughly reviewed. Their touted NPU processing prowess have not been tested yet. Cheers!

that AI processor is built based on ARM and it's a known fact that AI chip is still at its infancy that has little practical use for now
@LooseWheelNutPod7 жыл бұрын
Atulya Aman totally agree. On Twitter they had me excited. Yet overall the only thing that has surprised me is the battery. Otherwise no Apple or Samsung fan is going to leave them behind for this.

What do you mean behind them in everything. The Mobile A.I. system is head an shoulders above anything we have seen. Its able to identify what its seeing through its camera in real time to produce better shots and information. Supposedly, since Huawei is working with Google, their A.I. should soon be integrated with Google's A.I. producing faster results there as well. Its version of DEX is a step above Samsung's because it doesn't require an expensive Dock to use while providing better functionality. Its dual camera setup has 2 1.6 aperture lenses with OIS. The availability of OLED has forced the compromise in resolution (obviously) the same way Apple has been forced to push its release back and lower the availability completely of its IPhone X. In order to be real about expectations you have to be clear about what companies do. You expect beautiful displays from LG V30 and Samsung because they MAKE their own OLEDs. You expect top tier processing from Apple with their A11 chipset because they are specifically making this chip ONLY for their purpose. The same with Huawei and their Kirin chipset (and Samsung Exynos) Huawei has partnered with Leica for their cameras so you EXPECT great cameras, they specifically created their own chipset with AI so you expect great things from their AI. However they don't make screens, so they are forced to compromise in that department based on the availability of the product to reach their launch window. That's business.

Atulya Aman how you can say these are behind than those fucking Apple & Samsung. Huawei Mate 10 series faster than both phones, having bigger battery, better design, most powerful chip set ever made for smart phones, having artificial intelligence, Machine learning algorithm, best cameras even better than Note 8 & iPhone 8 plus, fastest fingerprint sensor. Atulya Aman what you need a smart phone that can stop the time ???? Then you will get it in your dreams only. You are just brand conscious people to whom only brand matters not the performance .

Huawei makes an amazing phone especially for the price! My Honor 8 is going strong for over a year. No lag at all. Never will I go for a "flagship" phone ever again.

Sameer Shaik Lmao nobody needs a display at 500 ppi, that's just excessive. It wastes battery, and it makes no visible difference from ~330 ppi
