Huawei Mate 60 Pro VS iPhone 14 Pro Camera Test: It's a Matchup!

Overall, I am genuinely amazed by Huawei's camera performance. I can't definitively say that Huawei surpasses the iPhone 14 Pro, but it's certainly on par with it, especially when you consider the differences in chipset. While it may not reach the level of the A16 Bionic chipset found in the iPhone 14 Pro, it's worth noting that the Mate 60 Pro has just been released and has plenty of time for further optimization. With all of these factors in mind, Huawei has undoubtedly earned my respect, and I am eagerly looking forward to what Huawei has in store for us in the coming years.

Considering Huawei's situation in this US- China war and the limited resources it has to work with, reaching the level of iPhone 14 pro in video quality especially, itself is a win for Huawei. Apart from this, to my eyes, Huawei has slightly better colour rendition and not over sharpen look as it is with iPhone.

What do you mean reaching? It's unusable. Either it's destabilized, or loses to 3.5x zoom because it lacks 5x optics and its 3.5x sucks, or it has horrible banding or jitteriness. The audio is very impressive for sure, but this video recording is bad even by Android standards, even of previous years. I do agree that Huawei is, ahem, courageous, but this comparison doesn't do it justice.

I gotta give it to Huawei, If they could get access to better semi-conductors from TSMC snapdragon with Android support they could easily fix those small glitches with 4k videos. The HDR from that slow-mo is just amazing where the iPhone sucked at it. I wish the US would remove those sanctions on them & give them an opportunity to allow them to prove their security & privacy standards are not a hoax.They have done a great job with limited resources. I wish them the very best. And also to the content creator, can you make a video on the photo with mate 60 pro's variable aperture in manual camera mode. I'm really interested to see how those work in different scenarios. A comparison will also be good.

Just found out and most don't know that iphone can take hi res raws, also in great quality too. Missing hi res in other fov is their mistake, I would be all over it otherwise - and I don't like apple.
