Apples new iPhone 15 Pro Max FAILS my Durability Test! Grab a Ghost case for your iPhone HERE www.dbrand.com/ghost-case I freakin' love Titanium. It is the COOLEST metal on the planet! When Apple said their new iPhone 15 Pro Max was going to be made with Grade 5 Titanium - I was flabbergasted. However... it turns out that the back glass of the Titanium iPhone 15 pro max isnt quite ready for prime time. Something is wrong with Apples new iPhone 15 Pro max.

The stupid thing is the USB-C spec allows alternate modes. Two devices connected via USB-C can negotiate to use the USB data wires to carry signals other than USB. That's how HDMI, DisplayPort, and Thunderbolt (which is just PCIe) over USB-C work. Apple could easily have made a Lightning alternate mode and put a USB-C port on its phones 8 years ago, without losing compatibility with pre-existing Lightning devices.

The back only cracks when it's bent, but withstands way more force when it falls or it's thrown against something, which is more frequent way your phone might get damaged. The titanium just won't bend, which applies too much pressure on the back plate, which instead of bending has to shatter now, but on the other hand it's way more durable when it comes to falling from your pocket on a marble floor or something.
@raddoobies

They want to differentiate the pro line up and the normal line up. That's why the normal lineup gets some pastel colours which are still lacking any saturation or character.
