Judging the phone just because it has a lower chip the phone is already a downgrade? How is that downgrade? Considering it has a better camera, increased battery capacity, Faster charging 66W, Smaller bezels on the screen, Bigger screen display and resolutions, more ergonomic design, improved cpu, the build quality is so much better than the previous model and etc.

@@kuyaklyne nevermind if kirin or snapdragon are good, the lack of micro SD card slot is a big deal breaker for me when we know the plethora of android phones shipped with gms , android 11, 128gigs on board and expansion slot up to 512 even 1 terabyte. I don't get it, Huawei is trying to be like the failed Nokia ( before hmd global took over) with some kind of originality or what??

Nova series was great and my nova 7i is my first huawei phone, im impressed lalo na sa gaming and heating quality isipin mo 4 hrs hindi siya mainit and i'm playing ML and CODM, if i put it into scale 2/10 ganyan siya hindi mainit and im really impressed not unlike may realme 6 pro ang init haha but sa games good naman siya they both have powerfull processor for midrange naman and huawei ang ganda talaga ng camera complete settings like LSR cam. Huawei talaga is focus siya for pictorials. Noon pa so di na bagu sakin yun.

Almost perfect if they put the 5G chipset Dimensity 800U and above is very acceptable with the price instead they put Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 is very unacceptable plus they used IPS LCD only and not amoled display so disappointing on huawei. The hype i see is only the 66w super charge that's all.

@@jammieperez1237 hi jammie im kinda late but i can recommend you something like for that price point it has 120hz. sd768. in display fingerprint. the downside is not expandable storage and no nfc support.

Aesthetically appealing, no question about it but the specs or internals... I'd buy one if it is 5G, processor should be SD700+ minimum, memory card slot, headphone jack, 50+W charging minimum, 5000+ battery. Price will change but, they can offer in a bit lower compared to OnePlus Nord phones. We can just flash the phone with a stock Android ROM anyway ☺️

I like the color and the near edgeless display but there are too many cons to this phone which can be a deal breaker aside from the already missing Google support. Cons: 1. IPS LCD display ---> its already Q3 and there are already smartphones in this price range that already has OLED display. 2. Snapdragon 662 SoC ---> would be nice if they equipped it with at least SD 720G or Kirin 820 3. Pill shaped front cam ---> I dont get why its only a single 16MP camera but it has to be a pill shape, a single punch hole is already good enough. Unless there are 2 lenses and one is an ultrawide angle cam 4. Old Android Version ---> I guess this may be due to Huawei's US ban. Android 12 is about to be released, this phone should be at least Android 11. Final verdict: its a pretty phone, if you're not bothered by the lack of Google support and the cons I stated above, go for this phone. But if it were up to me, I think Xiaomi's Redmi Note 10 Pro, Poco X3 Pro or Poco F3 might be the better buy in this price segment.
