Among the Huawei Nova lineup, I have the Huawei Nova 3i and 5T and I can say that these are the devices that have good designs compare to their predecessor and successor. Because from the glass back they move backward to glossy plastic.

Anyone here agree to me that this is the start of Huawei rise again?, The design of this phone is sick, even it has LCD display still looks amazing specially the bezeless design. Snapdragon 662 so far is descent SoC, it perform well even its just quite old. And for sure we can now upcoming smartphones of huawei with Qualcomm SoC. ✌✌

Nowdays 2021 we can get SD 732G & 720G in that price range and below. Official price for 8i open by Huawei Store in Shopee RM 1299. Surely not everyone will attract to this kind of old chipset. The price will drop down for few months. Just wait. I think Nova 7i is using far more better chipset (HS 710) 🤭

The SD 662 is much more inferior to the Kirin 810 in the cheaper 7i. That along will detract a lot of potential buyers.

I have been using my Nova8i for a few weeks now. And I can say that the phone works pretty well. However, if you are a photo geek or video freak. Definitely be ready with the not so good cameras. It is good for spur of the moment captures, however if you live on capturing every moment of your life, this is not for you. Since I am not a camera focused user. I could say that, they are ok enough.
