Jayce Jayce the back camera is superb. Good photo quality i must say. Same as for the front cam, if you are into more natural selfie this is for you. Actually this phone should have the tag line that says "capture the real you."

I’m by no means on a tight budget, but this is the perfect phone for me. I got it for 1/6th ($235) of what an IPhone X costs in my country ($1420). I’ve always bought the newest iPhones in the past, but I’ve realized that this phone has everything I need (at a fraction of the price of a flagship). I highly recommend the phone if you mainly use your phone for basic tasks like me e.g. KZbin, Facebook, web browsing etc.

I'm using P20 lite color blue. it's so fast, thin and it is elegant looking! (looks like iphone x) The graphics is awesome! It is so handy and fingerprint works on any angle and so quick! Camera is so good front and back! You can contol ISO and shutterspeed. Better buy this than nova2i, oppo, or vivo.

I bought it for my wife, she is really satisfied. I ran some tests on it and I must say I'm impressed on what you get for the price. Performance is good, design is awesome, decent camera with pro mode and our model actually has NFC, you just have to turn off the HUAWEI BEAM feature in NFC settings and file transfer starts to work.

This was a really nice and in depth review! As an owner of a p20 lite myself I suggest this device wholeheartedly! But my european version does feature NFC compatibility, so it might just be that your version doesn’t have it.

@@MelodyOfTheDead after one month using this phone, the battery is okay so far i can use my phone for whole day with heavy use, but this phone has a heating issues when i playing a game in this phone, and the battery also drain a little bit fast when im playing game, it can only withstand for only 3and half hour in my calculation then the batter already at 20%, if you want to save money i would recommend to you this phone but honor play is better than this phone, the price is almost same but honor play use a kirin 970, p20 lite use kirin 659

was waiting for xz3 upgrade on contract by my service provider which could take upto 3 months....and ordered this one as it was costing a lot less and could get an early upgrade on this phone contract...but i guess i am going to stick with this phone for long......amazing phone to hold, end to end screen, light and thin and sleek...and in black, i am a lot more satisfied with this phone than very expensive rivals in the market.

i chose this for its premium looks bcoz of the glass and Metal side and more realistic camera than oppo or Vivo. Though speed wise its slower since its cheaper . But that doesnt mean you cant play your games using this. Still can run Pubg or whatever game trends nowadays. Battery life? Its great.

Is it strange that companies that make mid-range smartphones always comes with a high Megapixel count on the selfie camera? Like 16 to 25MP on the front, I mean why couldn''t they just place a 24MP on the primary instead of the FFC? It's like every mid-range smartphones are aimed specifically at selfie lovers. I don't even like selfies. Why can't they make a normal phone for everyone like Xiaomi is doing.

Hamada Khalil I'm using my P20 Lite to reply. I don't recommend this phone if you live in the tropic. It gets super hot while charging and even while moderately using it. Front cam is too grainy for a 16MP Camera. It gets laggy at times. And the battery drains too fast. Fast charging is a big joke too.

Matthew Sarno Well, the temperature issue is odd, I live in Panama, our daily temperature is either 29° to 30-31°c and I haven't felt any overheating on my phone (I am replying from a P20 Lite rn). Battery drain I haven't experienced, but the quick charge thing, I agree. It does not charge nearly as fast as my previous Samsung S7 which only took about 30 min. to go up to 85%. The front facing camera I don't like too much... I'm mixed and this make my lips look all pink-ish and my face look pale white, kind of like a snapchat filter, I hate it. The back camera it's decent.

Charging takes no more than 90 minutes to 2 hours at most using the fast charger - and proper cable!

Update: For some reason I found my p20 lite dead / turned off after 2-3 days lying on the table in flight mode and with no apps running. Weird. After charging I checked and found no app was running indeed but the phone says the screen was continuously on and discharged it. Weird, as I'm sure it was off. Anyway, charging from totally ZERO to 100% took two hours. I nor ally charge at 20 or 15% at most, which takes 90 minutes.
