The imaging sensor is still a lot smaller though. So the phone utilises AI and software heavily. Its noise reduction algorithm is already better than the older generations of DSLRs. So in night mode with photos taken by P30 Pro, assuming you are not that fussy, the dark sky looks cleaner than those taken by DSLRs, which should delight most people a lot. Somewhat I feel its photo processing algorithm is too aggressive comparing to my personal DSLR experience. However I have to admit P30 pro has significantly pushed the boundary of phone photography and using it is really enjoyable.
