I bought my wife a VIVO X100 earlier in the year as we were doing a lot of travelling and wanted the best camera phone. It took great photos and videos every time. On top of that it is very fast, battery charges incredibly quickly with its 120kw charger and seems to last forever. No wonder the updated X200 was rated so highly.

as someone who resides in a place where chinese phones are very easy to get, they don't last as long as Apple/Samsung/Google, they are VERY GOOD at the first year of use, but eventually problems arise and you'd start thinking of changing phones.

It's all a matter of what you're expecting from your phone. If you want to keep absolute peak performance, most phones, even apple and Samsung would last like 2 years max. Otherwise you'll be fine to use it as an everyday regular phone.

I’m an iPhone 15pro user but honestly so pleased you didn’t award Apple this year. Their whole approach feels lazy and unpolished these days. IOS 18 is a crime, the whole thing is buggy and over complicated. I used to love iPhones for that clean minimalist feel they had but this update has killed that. Oh and the photos app is just unusable

I agree..got 16PM and Im happy with it ..but the camera is stepdown from Ultra I switched from. Colors are terrible like 30% of the time ( indoor its like 90% of the time). Video is still the best, but competition comes close each update.

I have s24Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra with photographer kit, today in my opinion wins who bringing to the table something more than stable system, fast processor and bright screen. Samsung and Apple they already forget about innovations in hardware, they giving to as only better software and for last 4 years those phones didn't change anything, Im more than 10 years premium Samsung user and specially last 3 years I receive identical phones with identical all over performance, iPhone is same like Samsung, boring. Yesterday I bought for my holidays new phone because camera features, Xiaomi 14 Ultra and have to say that this phone make me happy first time from many years, distance in picture quality between this phone and s24Ultra surpliced me so much, only thing that Samsung have better is UI, I hate UI in Xiaomi, it tries to be like iPhone, handicap like iPhone, Samsung doing it better, but hardware belongs to Xiaomi for sure, I love it, after my holidays I will decide which phone keep and which give up. I don't want to say Samsung is bad, in my opinion is better than iPhone, but is boring, zero exiting, I thing its right why s24 win this competition, overall best stable and universal flagship, but little rusty in hardware. Btw this is crazy how far Chinese brands goes today, few years ago I would just make jokes about them , today I keep my mouth open wide when using one!

The problem with Chinese smartphones like Vivo and Xiaomi is that their software works perfectly out of the box, but after an Android update, you won't have the same experience anymore. I've personally experienced this with OnePlus and Xiaomi phones, where the latest update left the device with bugs that were never fixed. However, after several years with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, everything still runs as smoothly as it did on day one.

I agree with that for mi,oppo and honor. But vivo is a hidden gem interms of software experience. I still use my Vivo v23 pro as my second phone along with my iPhone 16pm , trust me it’s still as good as new.Even the cheapest of the cheap vivo phone last longer than a Samsung flagship.(burnt my hands with s21 ultra and 22 ultra)

Honestly, I have an iPhone and the only reason I’m not transitioning to a new company is because of how much I would spend to fully integrate into a new group. As in I have the iPad, iPhone, MacBook and Apple Watch. This was slowly over 3 years but I can’t help but admit that I would rather have a galaxy.
