@@waelhussien6528 the problem with the p series is they use the older chipset when that was in the previous mate series for example since u have a mate 20 pro its actually better u have a 2k display same chipset as the p30 pro and it only has 1080p display the mate 30 pro is the one that will have eather the newer 985 or 990 krin chip set and a 2k display the p30 pro only has camera improvements that's it not worth it when u have a mate 20 pro

Bla bla bla. A lot of speaking but nothing important to say. Buddy you forgot to mention the main difference between this two phones. Mate 20 pro has 1440 x 3120 pixels (538 ppi density) screen agains 1080 x 2340 pixels (~398 ppi density) for the p30 pro. Even with unarm eye you can see on your video the screen differences and the shim that produce the screen of the p30 pro means low quality screen. On other side the p30 pro has a better front and beck camera set. All other specifications are practically the same expect the barometer and the storage. So in other words if you want better screen and barometer go for mate 20 pro if you want better camera, more ram and storage go for p30 pro. Next time do your paper work buddy don't palm off us such comparisons!

Both are amazing devices - but for the lower price on the Mate 20 Pro is the most worth it. Its very much similar to the new p30 pro in specs and hardware other than the camera. I like the 3d/ir sensors on the Mate 20 pro for its features and it has the front facing stereo speakers unlike the P30. I also like the red power button and the Twilight color is the best out of all huawei phones. The p30 pro only has a upgraded camera setup with a TOF sensor, 5x periscope zoom, OIS on main camera, sensor upgrades & more ram/storage on the base model. Other than that its basically the same as the Mate 20 pro

Was waiting for the p30 pro but got the mate 20 pro instead. 3 reasons although I dunno if I regret it or not. first is that my current phone has died so in a way I really didn't have a choice. 2nd is price. Mate 20 pro is much cheaper now than before. 3rd is the better resolution on the screen. However, if it wasn't for the first 2 reasons, I would have waited for the p30 pro. It's just a better looking phone all around (aside from the tech upgrade). Having said that, i'm sure the mate 20 pro will be a beast as well...it's still in the box...waiting for a screen protector. It also looks much better in metal than on screen.

Did just switch from a 5.3 QHD LG 16:9 G5 to a 7.2" FHD+ 2:1 Mate 20 X Don't notice it. But the G5 is nice for VR, at which it is still pixelated af. I've got to say that I absolutely hate "low" - res and I am quite picky about that. As long as the subpixelmatrix isn't a diamond FHD is enormous. Looking for difference I am able to see slight pixelcorners if I hold the phablet ~4cm close to my eyes which is the closest distance I can focus.

I don't think it's necessary. Unless you want a better camera. Mate 20 pro is a great phone. Maybe wait until the mate 30 before you upgrade. I have the moto z2 play, so upgrading to a p30 is necessary. But you already have a great phone with good specs so in my opinion I wouldn't upgrade. That's just my opinion though. Idk how your experience with the mate 20 pro has been.

@@receptaflan6902 not really, its just similar refresh rate. for example if phone screen refresh at 60hz, and camara also shooting around 60 hz, or 120hz or 180hz. you will see it flicking. it does not matter who is faster. give you another example, camara shooting at a helicopter, some time you see the spinning part of helicopter is static and the helicopter is in the air. Thats also because of this.
