I checked both of these models in the shop today and I love the P30 Pro. But I would say P30 is a better deal because it still has the flagship specs in a lower price. You're only going to miss few awesome things from the P30 Pro. But it will still be a wonderful purchase.

I had the S10 and I admit there were a lot of features I don't use. When its screen had issues (I'm now waiting for it to be repaired) I bought the P30 instead of the Pro because I learned from my mistakes.

What's your issue on the screen on s10 ? Because i have one on the fingerprint pressing . It make am mark of my finger like shadow when pressing but this happens after the last update of April maybe a software issue..

By the way not sure if you know this...I'm pretty sure portrait mode only works with people...aperture mode is what you can use for objects etc. But ye the TOF will no doubt help with pics of people.

It's a shame that P30 has no OIS in th main camera. It also has older sensor from P20 (IMX600), not the brand new one like P30 Pro (IMX650). Since I have small hands I'd choose ... S10e.

One of the major differences is that the P30 has an SAR value of 0.33, whereas the pro a proud 0.79!!! That means the pro radiates more than double as much... I don't know, what other health effect this revolutionary vibration might have whithout the mic while using the phone ... as a phone - to make a regular phonecall :o

The P30 is a good deal, I'd rather the P30 over the P30 pro. Its got a headphone jack unlike the P30 Pro !!!!!! Both the P30 and the P30 Pro are powered by Huawei’s best current processor, the Kirin 980. The P30 brings a lot to the table with three cameras, one offering an ultra wide angle lens and the other a 3x optical zoom. However, if you want to take your photography game to the next level, you'll want to get the P30 Pro.
