Hi, I need to do this on my Huawei p8 2016. What is the tape called and is it to protect the board or just to hold it in place, in which case can I use some masking tape instead? Does the glue work as a reactivating agent? I could do further research on this but have so many other rabbit holes to go down right now! 😏 I will be buying a budget hot air solder for this. Thanks for the video!

I burned the underpiece where I put the chargingconnecter. What can I do to fix this? I also used normal soldering flux, instead of kingbo. Is this bad?

Was it really 350c at 30% of the air flow? Looks like 450c at airflow mark 6-7 (80-90%)

Depends of the type of hot air station, we use JBC, one of the best, with 350 degrees and 30% air is gonna work perfectly. Thank you
