There is water in 3.5mm jack...just suck it and speaker will work again......Due to water conductivity with headphone jack terminals phone thinks there is headphone probe in hole and main speaker turned off by phone nature.

It was, I definitely recommend it to you. Camera is way better than in Z3 even though resolution is smaller. Only one flaw is battery lifetime but its more than enough for one day so youll be fine. Maybe I got spoiled by two day battery in Z3. EMUI Android by Huawei is very simillar to IOS by Apple so its very modern, classy and elegant. Phone itself feels expensive in hand due to very neat aluminum finish and crystal glass on the camera on the back, polished aluminum edges and 2,5 D screen. Fingerprint works awesome and it is very accurate. I like it very much so far after almost a month of usage.

It's good to know u have a sense of humor to laugh at urself. The speakers may be fine just that it thinks that headsets are plugged in. Wasn't there a notification shown on the top of the phone? The water probably made it falsely think there's a headset

not all p9 survive,,,mine drop in washing machine that i stop the machine to take out and the phone dead even can't be repair.. its depend of what kind of water and how deep and what kind of situation the phone was soak into it,

I think you use Filtered water...Just use tap or mineral water with some salt because filtered water has very less conductivity so damage to circuit is minimum or not

The phone gave him two points too show it was on headphone mode. The icon on the status bar and the warning when he was turning up the volume. Plus the start-up tune played so the speaker is fine.

You not noticing THROUGHOUT the video that the phone was detecting a headphone. Dude that made me cringe! If you look at the notifiacation bar carefully at 0:53 the headphone icon comes on due to water seeping into the headphone jack. Also, at 6:33, dude... the back button is on the other bloody edge!

That hearing volume msg comes when u have an earphone plugged in so u didn't have any pligged in which mean water has gone inside the headphone jack and shorted it out,go and try drying it properly and try the speaker it will definetley work becuz it didn't worl cuz the phone was thinking that there was heaphone plugged in but no it was actually the water inside the headphone jack which tricked the phonr into thinking it's an earphone
