China is a different market where people like to experiment with new hardware. Here in the Western world, I think Apple will remain stable, partly because they (not Apple) banned Huawei phones, eliminating one of major competitors.

Huawei is competitive enough to challenge apple. And yes apple would be in trouble when it comes to sales but apple isn’t worried about it. Rather Huawei is just catching up apple in terms of hardware and software services. What does it means? Android ecosystem is good especially those with GMS while Huawei is just running the AOSP. While apple have already a stabilized ecosystem in which consumers are really tied on. Huawei is catching up that ecosystem and because of that apple isn’t worried of it. Huawei still look up Apple and Apple is still sitting its throne as king of software and hardware innovation. I doubt Huawei could beat Apple in a global market.
