huh, I honestly expected the huawei to dish out a bloodbath to the samsung but its only marginarly better on photos and actually I think samsung did better on videos, sticking with my xiaomi 14 ultra that actually has a significant increase in detail and colour over the samsung s24 ultra

Yes Xiaomi has a bigger sensor and thus more detail, but the problem with Xiaomi even from Mi11 Ultra is that they are still behind in terms of image processing even though they have the better sensor. Xiaomi image processing still oversharpen, overexpose and oversaturate most images especially skintone on portraits. Don't confuse detail with oversharpening and dont confuse better colour with oversatuartion. Xiaomi still thinks that just putting better & bigger camera sensor will make better images. They dont really put their research into image processing and thats why even when mi11 Ultra has the biggest sensor at the time, it cannot perform even at the same level as S21 Ultra and Vivo X70 Pro Plus at that time. and it seems Xiaomi is still having the same problems. I am a fulltime photographer and have tested quite a number of top end photography phone and I see Xiaomi has the most potential but cant really be at the top with the others like Apple, Samsung, Huawei and Vivo. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJa8nKujg6efeq8

@@alpha.company I disagree, I have compared images from my xiaomi 14 ultra to the likes of samsung and google and I find those other phones tend to oversharpen and over hdr images, especially the pixel. In fact I find that because xiaomi relies on the sensor to take the better picture rather than the processing actually makes the phone more realistic and camera like. The only processing it does is removing grain and noise and doing the opposite of sharpening, smoothing! However this is only the case with my 14 ultra, I do find the images from the 11 and 12 ultra to do oversharpen and over saturate. When I look at the images on my 14 ultra, I can't spot any sharpening, but maybe that's because I always use pro mode which reduces the processing in images.
