Yep same here I also have the gt2 Pro and prefer it even to the gt 3 Pro in terms of the looks and better battery life. Don't really care about esim support and with regards to the rest of the features we should get them with the harmony OS update

No one seems to be talking that much about the notifications and what is interactive.. Is that a NDA thing? I'm struggling to see what it offers more over my gt2 pro to warrant the huge ram upgrade and massive battery drop in "smartwatch" mode. I love buying new tech . But this is the first time i can't see the draw for the high price.

Stay with the 2. It offers almost nothing and Harmony OS is a battery killer. Battery saving mode is the only way to go beyond 1,5 day.

Anybody had the problem that the system version is 2.0.0.121and unable to be upgraded to 2.0.0.136? I got one but failed to upgrade the system version so unable to access AI voice and some other new functions.

Actually HUAWEI has entire Watchface store you could choose hundreds and hundreds of design to fit your everyday mood :) The entrance is in Health App owned by Huawei after connecting your wearable device.

Even before huawei had the us trade ban they had verry little customisation on their watches you didnt have much of an app store before so its not really a big issue now as ots always been like that but it is a watch and not a smart phone so its not like we use it as much as our actual phone

I own a P40 Lite, and I can tell you that I don't need Google play services. They're, overall, a pain in the ass because if you didn't update them, they would stop working, and not to talk about their toll on performance. I'm really happy that I got away from Google, and thrilled to get Harmony Os

I bet Huawai Pay is in the works but whether it'll work in Western regions is another situation. Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay all had to get certifications from cards and banks.

@@bradavon huawei pay and the wallet are one and the same. Donno where it awailable rn just know it was released a couple years back and back then its was available in most of asia and russia. The apps available in other regions as well though and here in northern europe u can use it for giftcards etc but like u sayed theres no bank collaboration yet.

I had the Huawei Watch GT2 which I really liked but the biggest issue as someone who runs is that the watch wasn't compatible with Strava. I know people have asked continuously on Huawei forums but as far as I know it's still not possible to upload data from the watch to Strava. Such a shame as it's a great watch.

We are very happy with our Huawei products, they are clearly superior and world leading. There is lot's of information available on the web if you are willing to filter out the hit pieces. Pretty much a negative biased review by this reviewer. For developers they have a great site that really goes into detail about how to start monetizing a cutting edge OS that leaves all others behind. There is a very good or bad reason they forced American firms to break their contracts with Huawei, they are simply a generation or two ahead of the competition. My prediction is that they will dominate the world by the later part of this decade and Microsoft will take the path of Borland in the 90's, Apples will just be something you should eat everyday and Android will be a curiosity in a museam somewhere. I do hope my predictions about Microsoft and Android are wrong as I enjoy both OSs.

I bought a huawei watch gt2e Dec 2019. The workout record doesn't work since firmware update. I have been contacting huawei customer support since Jan 2020, till now the issue hasn't been solve. Totally zero confidence with huawei products. Customer support is also lousy, email them on the problem. They mentioned will call me back soon, more than a month passed no calls from them. Huawei never deliver their promises.

I am the owner of the gt2 pro watch and I am disappointed with the watch and I do not recommend buying it. The watch has a lot of mistakes, it does not count calories when you rest, it does not count activities as it should. heart rate is not properly measured in the gym. It has a lot of bugs, which can be fixed with an update, but they come very slowly. Huawi plays the game only on the design of the watch, otherwise the watch is useless in professional use. I never buy a huawei watch again for that money.
