@@gestropothe SpO2 blood oxygen salutation ( SpO2) is the percentage of hemoglobin in your blood that contains oxygen ( HbO2). And is an important vital indicator. 2nd feature is measuring VO2. Maximum oxygen uptake refers to the maximum amount of oxygen that you can utilise during intense exercise. It's important indicator of aerobic capacity and heart and lung function, and can be improved through long term systematic training.

I was testing it a little on people vs my regular blood pressure monitor, and I gotta say it`s surprisingly accurate, close enough to make it viable alternative id say.

I'd say... carefully. Maybe wipe it over more than wash it; while it's IP68 rated, Huawei's notes state that it's not intended for swimming or immersion in water (which makes that IP rating a little weird), so I wouldn't go throwing it in a dishwasher or sink if I were you.

It is not medically graded because is Huawei , if it was Apple , well you know the answer . Hey Apple watch is even more expensive nut is a Apple :)

I do know the answer -- Apple Watch isn't medically graded either for the health functions it has. Apple doesn't want to go to that expense or open itself up to potential lawsuits. Pretty much every smart watch maker is the same in this regard.

Huawei (at least for the model sold in Australia) doesn't specify -- which all but rules out Gorilla Glass, as that's a Corning brand name. No particular durability is assigned to the Watch D at a specs level.

⁠also here in PH dey dont specify which type of glass is used on watch D maybe just a normal glass, no sapphire or gorilla. Atleast on the Huawei watch 4 dey specify its using sapphire.

799 price point? It costs around 360€.

That's in Australian dollars -- though the conversion would suggest even with GST added it's should be $600 or so from a 360 Euro price. But not that unusual to see different global pricing for tech products (known often derisively in this part of the world as the "Australia Tax").

Don’t know for sure for the first (as I’m not in China) but I would be surprised if not. It does have ECG, but it’s not live in the Australian model I tested.

When signing up for huawei id, select a country that is approved for medical use as main country instead of aus, you will still receive the text message upon id sign up, that should get all the features. I did this with my band 8.
