I had both phones. Kept the Max 3. I'm also a big guy and the Y Max was just too uncomfortable to use. Other than that, Max 3 has USB type-C with quick charge. Battery's bigger din for Max 3. Screen's more crisp as well. 😊

I bought the Y Max for about 14000... I have the phone now for two weeks already and i enjoyed the phone a lot.. Gaming, Video, taking pictures and also the leather feels great especially with the big screen.. If you have the extra cash why not buy it...

So this time Huawei went with the SD660. That, coupled with the big screen, hmmm going in the right direction for gaming. But 5000 mah battery for a 7inch device is not so exciting anymore if u r updated with the recent trends. The cameras and the pricing doesn't help to the equation.

If you are just into GAMING and BIG SCREEN, a good alternative would be the Mi Pad 4 (8inch). Price starts from 10k PHP and yes it has the full fledged SD 660. My Mi Pad 4, 4GB, 64GB LTE version costed 14k. Or if you want even bigger screen the Mi Pad 4 Plus (10.1 inch) starts from 16k PHP. You get great stereo speakers and exceptional battery life. But ya, these are still tablets so can't expect much for the cameras.

My only problem so far is the Audio Speakers themselves. The Dolby Atmos optimization sometimes gets in the way of optimizing it for the worse. But then again, I'll just wait for an update for it.

@@belindaginete2931 There are two firing speakers. Top and Bottom. You can set the Dolby Atmos optimization (in the Sound settings) yourself just in case you want it either for Movie or Music purposes.

Just bought the Y Max just want to add my personal experience, playing PUBG in this device is good because of the screen the downside is I happen to use the L1 R1 and injust observed that while doing so you cannot shoot and move at the same time. Is it my trigger? Just sharing.

Leather back is cool for the price of ₱16, 990 and big screen is great, the screen resolution is kind of okay, since it is 7" IPS screen. Ample amount of storage and RAM. Snapdragon 660 on Huawei, di na siya HiSilicon Kirin 710. downside nga lang po talaga are the cameras. kahit 16MP F/2.0 aperture and 2MP F/2.4 yung rear, tapos yung Front is 8MP F/2.0, I agree to that na there are phones na merong "MAS" pagdating sa camera quality, but usable din naman, CAN IT GAME na yan Sir Joey! 😂 and nakalimutan mo mag "Buh-Bye" in cute high pitch. 😂

big screen ang selling point nito. Obviously, there are other phones (from other brands or from huawei also) that have better specs than this. With this price, iv got to go with A50, vivo v15, f11 or Redmi note7 or other more capable phones.. afterall, 6.3 inch-above phones are already massive.

Believe it or not kasya yan sa bulsa. I used to own a Mi Max 2 which is bigger than this phone kasi malaki dimensions ng Mi Max 2. I wear straight cut, slim pants, chinos and skinny jeans pero kasya ang Mi Max 2 ko, halata nga lang talaga yung phone pero doesn't matter naman, as long as kasya, yun ang important.

@Jake Lake sir ask lng ako about sa likod niya if may possible ba na ma damage siya habang tumatagal, i mean like same ng ibang synthetic leather ng bags pag tumagala natatanggal na or napupunit na dahan dahan ang leather... Gusto ko sana bilhin to but worried din ako kase medyo pricey siya and magkaproblema yung back. Matagal tagal din kasi ako naka ipon to buy a new phone 😞

For 1k more you get: USB type-C Super Amoled display 2GB more RAM Triple and much better rear cameras Better front camera Fast charging technology In-display fingerprint scanner Tbh Huawei Y Max only has bigger screen and battery, and the leather back, and is a 7.12 inch phone really that convenient to use? And in terms of battery, even though the A50 has a smaller one (4000 mAh compared to 5000 of Y Max), it is still power efficient since it uses a smaller and more convenient Super Amoled display.
